Our family recently had dinner at Mama Cozza's and absolutely loved their service and food. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was oh so yummy. I had the prime rib which was the best prime rib I've had in a long time! The location is great and Mama Cozza's provides a great alternative to theme park dining in Anaheim! We will be back!
At the recommendation of a family friend, I was finally able to swing by and have lunch at Momma Cozza’s (MC). I arrived around 11 ish and was instructed by an employee to use the pub/bar entrance for lunch or take out. I walked into the bar side which reminded me of a speak easy out of New York or Brooklyn. I was greeted by Matthew, server, with a warm smile and seated instantly in the bar side which I didn’t mind at all since I was there to sample OS Italian food that I’ve been hearing so much about. Matthew recommended the lunch trio pasta combination that came with either soup or salad. The soup de jour was minestrone but I was in the mood for a salad which was dressed with MC’s homemade ranch. My entrée, garlic bread, and drink were delivered in a timely manner and served HOT! My trio was delicious!!! It was sooo good I texted my kids and asked them what they wanted me to bring home for lunch. One my kids ordered “Make your own pasta - fettuccini with meat and vodka sauce)” which came with a cup of Minestrone soup and my other kids shared a family (giant) size MC special pizza. MC’s cuisine is a RARE in my opinion as the food is all made from SCRATCH! MC is located near the Disney resorts toward Anaheim Packing District. MC has an old world charm, family friendly vibe! You can chose to dine in the bar or restaurant side. MC did NOT disappoint! The VALUE is ridiculously affordable unless you have adult top shelf beverages. The owner Frank Cozza (genuinely a humble business owner/gentleman) stopped by my table to not only thank me for trying out his restaurant but to ask if any improvements could be made. Now if that doesn’t catch you attention, I don’t know what will.I can’t wait to taste taste MC’s Osso BucoThank you, Mr. Cozza and Matthew for an awesome dining experience (4.5/5). We’ll be back with family and friends for the Osso Buco and Tiramisu.Mangiare felice???
First night in Anaheim for a Disney vacation and we wanted something good, easy and fast. With two grands and four adult children, pizza was the best choice and this place was a great choice! Toppings good and fresh. I wish we could try some of their pasta dishes. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I thought the dough needed a little salt but maybe that's just the way they do it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The food was mediocre, at best. We went here because it was on ddd, but between the vegetable lasagna, chicken Parmigiano, stuffed mushrooms, tiramisu, cheese sticks (these were terrible), garlic bruschetta, and BBQ jalapeño pizza, nothing tasted good or great. They have a poster of Guy F. In the restaurant, but the staff had no clue about what the house specials were or what they were known for.
This was fantastic food at reasonable prices. The mozzarella sticks were fantastic, I had chicken parmigiana and spaghetti!
We had our eighth grade class reunion, from 1966 and they put a spread on it was remarkable! Thank you everyone for making our reunion fantastic, the food was absolutely amazing!
This place is amazing clean quiet the beer is nice and cold... Service is awesome ?
Got the special pizza grilled chicken, pineapple, with jalapeno. So it sweet and spicy. I liked it.
My wife and I ordered through Uber Eats so you don't know what to expect until your orders arrive. I really don't want to be a hater but the food was terrible. Granted, they've been in business since 1965 so they must do something right. What I can tell you is what we ordered and how it was. I ordered a meatball sandwich. It was the worst ever. I'm not sure if the chef made an error or its just that bad. I've never in my life seen a meatball sandwich with no cheese!. Basically it was a non toasted bun with maybe 2 tablespoons of sauce on the bottom with a good portion of just okay meatballs. No melted cheese or sauce on top. Wasted my money but a lesson learned. My wife ordered a Sub sandwich. It was about 2 slices of Italian meats, LOTS of lettuce and a THICK slice of tomato. Terrible. No condiments either. If they were on there a sparse portion. Not even any Italian dressing. Maybe the rest of thier is great, pasta dishes outstanding but I'll never order a sandwich there. Sorry.
My fiance and I love this spot for date night. The food is always amazing and the servers are always incredible. Definitely try the mozzarella sticks. They're gigantic - I call them mozzarella bricks. The chicken parmesan and pizza are fantastic as well. It's so cozy inside as well.
