The most amazing Mexican food I've ever had! My husband and I are traveling through CA and took a chance on this little whole in the wall but it is now our best Mexican food experience. Their meat is actually marinated properly leaving it flavorful and tender. Also they make their own corn tortillas that were above and beyound. In love with this place!

Solid taqueria in the mission right next to BART and multiple muni stops. My favorite thing about this taqueria is they have 'baby' burritos...you know...the size burrito we should all really be eating.

The service was terrible. As soon as I got there I got automatically put in the "you should not be here" environment. As a black man engaged to a Hispanic woman I never been to a Mexican restaurant feeling I wasn't welcome as a customer. They handed us menus as we sat down at a table and 10 minutes later informs us that we didn't sign. There was no sign posted that we needed to sign in and the asked us to go back outside and wait to be called in after signing in.

Very good, I had carnitas and al pastor tacos. Exactly what i wanted. Everyone with me got breakfast burritos and chilaquiles and they were thrilled with their food. Great choice.

The most nasty food I have ever tried, the chilaquiles are hard tortilla chips covered with sauce, (not real chilaquiles) and I asked for over easy eggs and they were served burned with the yolk completely hard, very bad tasteless food and expensive, 23 dollars for one hard tortilla chips topped with unflavored green salsa .nothing as the menu photos .Don’t go to this place , IHOP’s or Paul place is better for the same price .

One of my favorite spots for Mexican Food. This is a like a "fondita". One of those home mexican kitchens that has really good food. I usually get Chilaquiles when here for breakfast and Caldo de Res for dinner. Those 2 are delicious. Tortillas hechas a mano and a super tasty salsa. What else do you need? I highly recommend this place if you want a homemade meal. Two thumbs up.

I always go there for there menudo and today i dicided to order the carne asada plate,to my surprise when I got home the serving of meat was rather small and very hard to chew!!I prices have gone up everywhere but I will never order anything else besides menudo. For $17.99 i at least wantad a decent plate!Hand made tortillas used to be good now they are too thick.

Food was came out cold and salty. The service was o ok. However it was very accommodating and quick to rectify but still not much improved in flavor. Ordered food combo with salsa roja, ans red snapper plate. Fish tasted good as it was fresh and not fishy: beans and rice cold, fish must of been on a diet as it was pretty slim and it came way after first plate that was served and arrived cold. Horchata was too sweet strawberry water needed more flavor. Bout a third drink tried the fresh squeeze orange juice which was good in flavor but warm.

3.5 stars.I was a little skeptical with the location and look of the place and the staff.. but the food was great. We got a torta, costillas and chilaquiles. All good.. torta was a little toasty.. and rice was not the greatest, also on a dry end.I wanted to try their menudo but am always skeptical of eating that at restaurants during the week, but lots of people came and went with orders of menudo, which made me regret my decision of not trying it. So I'd give it a try next time.We got there at 9am and they were cleaning tables from last night and taking out trash, this should be done the night before during closing for sanitary reasons! The menus are old looking and did not feel clean, should renew/remake them. Those was the only things I disliked

Great food and friendly staff. I love the lengua tacos
