I am undercover reviewer and I've never been so shocked and embarrassed for Jack's, I pulled up in a long line and I saw easily 7-8 cars pull out or pull thru the drive thru, nobody took any orders and upon pulling up to the drive through window, according to apparent Manager Sanchez the register was locked and couldn't give anybody change until another 30 minutes. The person apparently was gone and wouldn't b back until then, Sanchez appeared not to to care and looked to just wanna to leave and just b off-duty. She was totally unprofessional. Most of the cars went across the street to Alberto"s.
It might just be this Anaheim location, but the food has gone down hill from even a year ago. What is worse, is that it is more expensive now. The extra expense does NOT mirror the food's quality. JITB used to have decent food at good prices. It no longer has that. Even McDonalds gives you a drink ANY size for $1.00. JITB food is now a lower quality than McDonalds, but just as expensive. Most of it's cheap items are gone. If you order a small drink, it is slightly bigger than a Dixie Cup. Of course, the convenience of re-fills from a dispenser is also gone. This may be because of Covid, but the subtle effect is that people order larger drinks (which cost extra) as to not incur the inconvenience of asking for a refill. (not sure if refills are even allowed anymore here) One more thing, for those with EBT, be aware: you not only need EBT (even though a big sign on a wall advertises that EBT is accepted) but you need to be on an EBT Hot Food program. Something they don't tell you until AFTER you are shamed and humiliated when your EBT card is declined. JITB was never stellar food, but it was comfort food when you had that craving. Now the rising prices have killed the comfort and my will to dine here again.

Today there was a beautiful woman sitting outside by herself and looked like she was having a bad day. So I told her "You're too Beautiful to be having a bad day and if someone else is causing it, don't let them. Tomorrow will be a better day for you I promise," she just seemed like ' weirdo just dropped a super sweet bomb on me' I think I will try to see if she's still there & be a nice guy til she gets over the BS in her day :)
Same order for #4 combo, but the cashier was so stingy of napkins.Went by yesterday Feb. 11, 2022 to give it another try. First of all the menu changed the order, and the price "Jacked up almost $1 more" from $7.42 to $8.39. I confronted the cashier and gave him the couples of days old receipt I bought from a location in Buena Park. His reply was different location, different price. I agreed, the price could be varied from one location to another, but this is outrageous! It's $1 more.Secondly, he gave me only 2 napkins. I asked for more, and when I opened the bag all napkins were crumbled, just like trash. This is an exceptable!I definitely not going back there. I hope everyone reading this would stay far away from this restaurant.
Horrible place. It smells and they don't keep up on the janitoral services and the food is freaking cold. Don't go here they suck. Never again !!

Had to wait an awfully long time in the drive thru. Oh well I wasn't in a hurry per se but they got my order wrong and the fries were hard and cold. Bummer. Always check your food before you drive off. I do but forget sometimes. The customer service was ok
I get that it's new years eve, but still. Having music (if you can call it that) blaring out of the drive through window, while as a customer waiting there for order is not a good idea, nor does it show professionalism on their part.
Usually my reviews of places that treat me poorly or underperform are long winded but this time I'm hoping that the pictures of the food will speak for themselves. Basically I ordered the cluck sandwich combo and was left confused and hungry. The chicken was undercooked and the bun was half burnt with a small piece of extra white fluff attached, perhaps for flavor? (*sarcasm) Please see proof/photos of the food, disgusting!!!
