Huckleberry lemonade, beignets, and corn beef hash with a biscuit…I was stress eating while waiting for my wife’s surgery to finish at UCI. This turned out to be a comfort breakfast at its finest. I’m definitely taking my family here later on. The beignets were killer!Edit: wife’s surgery went well and has since recovered beautifully!
As with all the restaurants in this area, be prepared to wait to be seated (about 45 min).The menu at this place is unique and the food is good. Maybe I haven't eaten enough southern food to appreciate the amount of sugar used in tea, but I could hardly drink the peach ice tea. The presentation was impressive, it arrived in a large jar with a sugar crusted rim and had pieces of peaches floating at the bottom. The flavor was more like a tangy peach syrup, not what I was expecting at all. My husband ordered a caramel machiactto. I was expecting that to be overly sweet, but it was pleasant compared to the tea. It arrived in a smaller jar with fresh whipped cream and caramel syrup. For brunch I ordered the crab cake benedict, the crab cakes were crispy and tasty, but the potatoes on the side came half cooked and covered in peppers and onions (something I can't eat right now). My husband's French toast was lightly battered/dipped and not very French toast like. His side of bacon was good. Our daughter's kids meal pancake meal came out quickly.
I am going to give this place 5 stars for food, but 3 starts for service. The food was delicious, and my mimosas were amazing as well. I built my own omelette, and it was very flavorful. Beignets were delicious with the dipping options. I was originally going to order crepes, honestly, that's why I chose this place, because I love crepes. But they ran out...Our waiter got our order, was really nice, but after that we haven't seen him. I had to stop someone else and ask for syrup for the waffles and water refill. We also had to ask another server for our check and parking validation, because our waiter never came back.
Great setting each row look like a shack the french toast was amazing to my taste that eggy gooy spongy tatste to a french toast, srvice was a little slow dont recvice refill on water i did on my coffee so it was half and half there . And for the price and portion was great.would recommended to eat and maybe even people to franchise it it a different then your dennys i give it that for sur. So 4/5 keep it up
Had the strawberry waffle combo,so good!First time trying fried green tomatoes, I really liked them! Gotta try! I will definitely be returning!

This place is a cute spot to get brunch. They have selective drinks especially their mimosas. They have their Bloody Mary. I got the swamp tea which was so good. I ordered the huckleberry French toast and the partner ordered the shrimp and grits. Pretty good food l. Our waiter Alfred was super fantastic. Ensured our experience was great and he delivered it very well. Customer service is also amazing here your well taken care by their staff. The restaurant itself is busy clean and not too bad for brunch. If you are in the area and want to munch on some food stop by and check ‘em out you won’t be disappointed
Everyone else in my group loved what they ordered and it all came out hot. I had the sausage link plate and it came out cold. Two of us ordered eggs over-medium, and they came out very runny and under-cooked. Two of our group came in later than the others, and while they were served coffee quickly, their order wasn't taken for quite a while. The service was good though and so was the coffee!
I would've gave 5 stars if my food didn't come out cold twice . But overall it was a nice experience. Taste was great and service was excellent!!! Yesenia was our server & she made the experience a 5/5 for us. She's kind patient and attentive.The front desk staff was a little off I wasn't too happy with their customer service. But I would definitely give this place a try again. It has potential.
