Excellent place to eat at! I ordered the TriTip with MacNCheese and Cajun Rice, everything was delicious and their house made steak sauce is the best I’ve ever tried. Not everyone knows how to correctly cook a well done steak that’s still juicy and tender, and this place knows how it’s done! Cashier was very friendly and helpful. Need to go again!
Service with a smile? NOT HERE! The fried chicken is crispy but it has too much pepper. The rice needs salt and the coleslaw is bland. The BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious as well as the mac n cheese. The french fries are good and the spicy chicken sandwich was yummy. However, the service was terrible! Zulette was unfriendly and unwelcoming, she saw me walk up to the register and ignored me. I asked three times if they were still taking food orders and she replied "yes" but with an attitude and was still doing something else. She didn't have the courtesy to ask me to wait but when a lady walked up to complain about her order being wrong she immediately walked over to help her. Rude!
It wasn’t the best food, like the fires were super thin, the chicken was not cleaned. I had a fried chicken plate and my friend had the hangar steak. Literally a joke. The hangar steak was a few small pieces and the fried chicken was three large pieces and a good por portion, but not good. The chicken is definitely the cheapest type that is bought in bulk, which I understand because it’s a restaurant, but like add something to the chicken. The only taste was the outside, but the inside was so plain and tasted really dull, not what I expected. However, the prices are reasonable. The mac and cheese was so good. They added extra cheese to it which made it great.
This is one of the Only Soul Food restaurants in Orange County at the moment & I'm Grateful for their presence. The food is Amazing (especially the smothered pork chops, Yum). They don't have a large menu, but still a nice selection of dishes & friendly staff. Totally recommend & think I'll go again myself this weekend.?
I should have gotten the waitress name. She was so sweet and attentive. Remind you they don't really have waitresses. They bring out your food if you stay but you pay and tip before sitting down. She was awesome. Thank you for taking care of my family. Food was yummy. I love the pork chop meal. It comes with 2 pork chops, 2 sides. The smaller kids can share it... pork chop each, choose a side lol. One of my babies graduated to needing her own plate after last night! Lol Good service, good food!
Not much, if any, soul in this food. Chicken tenders were juicy, but no crisp and the flavor was just okay. The real crime was the pulled pork cheese fries. The pork was bone dry, flavor was anything but fresh. Tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Pork butt (assuming that's what they use) is THE most forgiving cut of meat to cook/smoke. So how you end up with dry pulled pork is beyond me, especially at a place like this where it's supposed to be their thing. Also, TINY amount of cheese on the fries and it wasn't even melted! Honestly, the brisket cheese fries I had at wienerschitzel last week were a million times better. Should've gone back there instead.
The food was good. Definitely commercial soul food but the greens did taste like Grandma's hands blessed them. The dessert is not made by Grandma so order at your own discretion. We tried the sweet potato pie, peach cobbler, pound and lemon cakes. I will eat there again but pass on the dessert. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate their professionalism since we were in a large group. All orders came out nice and hot and served to the right customer. Served with a smile all while managing requests for refills, extra napkins and the like. Pictured are the smothered pork chop and the tri-tip plate. Also pictured is the bacon gravy. You heard me: bacon gravy! Need I say more?!
Great team lunch at Georgia's today, its down the street from our office so we all drove out together, we got hangar steaks and po'boys, both really good! I recommend trying the mac n cheese and corn bread with the spread they give you! Steak was cooked perfectly and came with a tasty chimichurri sauce as well. Try it out, best food in the packing house!
Inside Anaheim Packing House. Beautiful Southeastern decor. Delicious food. We tried the chicken ? wings and they were tasty with the limo pepper sauce. Also, we truths tri tip steak ? (medium well) and it was great. Georgia’s is always busy the evening
A nice comfort food restaurant inside the Anaheim Packing District. Family owned business and a full menu where everything sounded amazing. I shared the Gumbo, a Shrimp Po' Boy Sandwich (with a side of fries), and two complementary mini corn bread muffins..which was the right amount. I also tried their Peach Sangria which was nice and refreshing.-Gumbo - Delicious and just what I remembered having in New Orleans. It had andouille sausages, chicken and shrimp in a savory roux sauce over white rice.-Shrimp Po' Boy - Also delicious and hit the spot. Came with the usual sandwich toppings like shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, a garlic mayo and lemon aioli, on a french roll. The shrimp was perfectly crispy.-Peach Sangria - Light and refreshing. Light on the alcohol but that's ok.
