Mike P was the best server! Great food and atmosphere.
The food was average and pricey. Salad was very plain and the Turkey was horribly dry. The service was unfortunately very poor. We watched our appetizer and main course get handed off and comped to the table next to us. When our 2nd waiter finally came around, they corrected our orders and our hot appetizer eventually made its way out 15 min after we already completed our already late main dishes. Drinks are good. Donât sit near the bar if you want to avoid screaming restaurant guests.
We brought my husband here for his birthday. This was our first time. We made a reservation online just 30 minutes prior. Everything was fantastic! We had a dish off their secret menu! We split it as it is pretty large. We also ordered mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, and corn. The mashed potatoes were good but were on the dry side. Lastly, did I mention how horribly hot it was in the restaurant??!! They donât have air conditioning. They leave their door/window open but it was still unbearable.

I wish I could give them a better review because it started off so nice and everyone was so friendly... but every time we asked for something they never ended up bringing it. Our drinks never came and they ended up never being rung up, we re-ordered and one drink never came. They gave us 2 free shots and asked if we wanted another, one for each of us, we said yes and they never brought it, after asking twice. We asked for ketchup and it was only brought after we asked 2 times. They brought out a quesadilla and said it was free from our waitress so we assumed the one we ordered for dinner was coming separately... it never came, that was the one we ordered, but it was very confusing. Food was good- but service not so much
We are on vacation from Kansas City. My husband is a bbq snob, but even he was impressed! The staff were so good to us - it really says something when you have excellent customer service despite the possibility that you may not be a repeat customer. We had the brisket quesadilla, brisket burrito and hot chicken sandwich. All were delicious! My 7-year-old was also satisfied with the kidâs menu selections. This meal will be a highlight for our trip!
Food is amazing, the restaurant also give us appetizer on the house. Staff is friendly. Only thing that was not ideal for us is that the indoor is pretty noisy, hard to have conversation with friends. Overall, a great place to chill and enjoy a drink or two.
Had a nice lunch - our food was great and our waitress Jessica was very sweet. The front of the restaurant - hostess and seating - was a mess. We waiting 15 minutes to be sat.
Awesome birthday dinner for my wife. Our server was super attentive and thoughtful. The food runner was super knowledgeable. The food was incredible (especially the bread pudding). Worth a try!
I love this place, but this last trip was not great. It was a Wednesday evening so I would expect it to not be as busy or as staffed as a weekend. We had a 530 reservation but were not sat until 545, then we spent another 10 minutes at least before our server came by. Granted, there were only 2 servers for the restaurant so they were very busy. And our server was definitely doing her best, but it took forever to get drinks, our food came out in stages so everyone was eating their food at different times. Again this is totally understandable, but the thing that made it bad was it was SO hot in the restaurant. I don't know if they have AC or not, but there were no fans or anything. Many of the customer at other tables were fanning themselves with menus. It was hard to enjoy the excellent food and to be as gracious with the service on a 90 degree day with no reprieve from the heat. I will definitely go back, but maybe not until summer is over.
