We stopped here last week while on the way to LAX to fly home. Since we love Bubba Gump so much we went out of our way to go to this location. We were early and sat outside until they opened at 11 and the manager opened a little early and allowed us in. This was very helpful since we still had quite a drive to the airport to catch our flight. Our waiter was Carlos and he was fantastic. Very friendly and suggested things from the menu for us. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and the food speed was good. We were a little disappointed that the I'm Stuffed Shrimp was no longer on the menu but that's not their fault. They thought it would come back again some time so we are hopeful. We opted for the variety shrimp basket with fries and garlic bread as an appetizer. The food was all very good. The parking garage is right behind the restaurant and they validate parking so it was free for us. I would recommend this Bubba's and ask for Carlos!
Great service, had a great waiter. We kind of were upset she didn't test us on scenes from the movie, because we had recently re-watched it in case we found our selves back at a Bubba Gump's.
I want to eat here again so badly! I devoured my coconut shrimp! It was mouthwatering delicious!My fiancé and kids devoured their food as well and everyone kept talking about how delicious their food was.I didn’t catch our server’s name (she has the cutest short haircut and awesome tattoos), but she was awesome! Very personable, sweet, and made sure we were taken care of. I think having a phenomenal server can completely change the dining experience.We will be back!
Our first time on this chain and we loved it! We went for dinner after 8pm and didn't have to wait which was a huge plus! Service was perfect and the food and drinks exactly as described. If you're looking for some southern style shrimp and fish, this is your place. And of course, you get all the Forrest Gump memorabilia which keeps everyone entertained for hours. Highly recommend!
This place was amazing!! From start to finish, we felt welcomed and staff was attentive. Our waitress Taylor, made our first time experience memorable. We celebrated two Birthdays & the girls felt special!The food was Superb. The girls got the crab boil. It looked finger licking good lol. For anyone who don’t like seafood, there are other options.I got the surf & Turf. Prime rib & shrimp, with mashed potatoes & broccoli. Oh man it was amazing. I actually finished my plate hahaha. Wish i took a pic.Tip: I booked thru Yelp (same day reservation) . When I got there with our party 7:45, I was told they no longer are doing yelp reservations. Luckily & thankfully, they honor our request. They may want to update their website. Be sure to call for reservations. It was a busy Sunday night.Overall, can’t wait to come back
salad with strawberries, salmon, pasta, drinks, cheesecake, everything is good. the staff is very welcoming and friendly. the service is fast
They have great food and service is wonderful. The atmosphere is very nice, they are near the gardenwalk so after dinner there is something more to do
I haven't been here for a long time and what happened here?I forgot what we ordered but look at the pictures for the portions!They are so stingy on shrimp that were bland and even fries that tasted like frozen.(In-n-out fries would be much fresher and tastes better.)I thought they used taste better but now it's not worth going and spend my money anymore.I will definitely not going back here ever again.
It's been a pong time since I had to decode between Gumbo and Jambalaya - so I had a little of both! Cup of Gumbo and Jambalaya for dinner. Both were excellent! A little spicy without being overpowering. My table also ordered the Run Across America Sampler with fried shrimp, hush pups, chicken tenders, and Bubba's Far Out Dip & tortilla chips. The platter came with 3 sauces (cocktail, sweet bourbon, and chipotle) which complimented everything very well! Other dinners ordered were Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi and Shrimp Combo and Maker's Mark Glazed Salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great!
I’ve been the bubba Gump Shrimp in Hawaii before, sad to know that one is permanently closed. So when I’m in Anaheim today, I accidentally found there is one here. So we came. A reminder is that the Yelp reservation won’t work, even you reserved through Yelp and it’s showing in port, the restaurant didn’t connect with Yelp, they use open table instead. I reserved on Yelp and arrived on time, then the restaurant said sorry we don’t use Yelp, and they put me in, which makes me waiting another 45 min to get the table.
