Twice i bought some haldirams products but they are selling some expired items with new dated sticker covering the real date and original date was scratched to erase. I had smosa and there was some hair in the smosa.. yukkk.. not going there no more .
My go to place for Indian Sweets and Snacks. The store has the best Jilebis and Punjabi Samosas in this side of the town. Plus they have a great selection of Indian sweets. It is a family run business, small in size but great on Service. They also serve meals with traditional punjabi fares done in Home style cooking. The portions are adequate and taste authentic. I ❤️ their Dal Makhani and Chole. The best thing about the place is, for a establishment that combines a grocery store and food service, it is kept very clean. Start with Jilebis and Samosas, you cannot go wrong. Five stars.
Bad manner of lady owner with my sister in law.We will never go here or order food from here.
Breakfast - Halwa puri
This is our first time going to this Indian Grocery store called Ambala Sweets and Spices. We found a hidden treasure. We were immediately acknowledged when we walked in. The young Indian lady (I think her name is Ritika) spoke fluent English, Hindhi and Punjabi. Extremely helpful and provide all the details of each food item. Even surprised that the grocery store has a small restaurant where you can eat fresh cooked Indian food with all of the variety of breads. The prices are very reasonable. They have all of the Indian groceries you will every need. We later met her brother and found out that this is a family owned business for the past 14 years where her parents cook most of the food. It’s so great to see young adults helping the family business, going to school full time and have a great bubbly character. The food, prices and friendly attitude really sets a precedence for all other business to follow.
Friendly and efficient staffHot food is awesomeGreat selection of teas, snacks and spices.
So many spices! I will have to return as I hit overload the first trip
Nice people. It is a small place but has most of the groceries you need. Multiple options for lunch. Sweets are great also
I like this place and visit in every couple of weeks. I am born with a sweet tooth, I really like their Indian snacks and sweets. The price is very reasonable.
