Decided to try this restaurant out, as it is close to my workplace, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the chicken sandwich and curry chicken empanada and both were of high quality and they were delicious. Not sure who I spoke with but he was very welcoming, kind, and friendly. They also had a good selection of desserts and the ones that I tried were tasty as well. Looking forward to visiting again to try out other dishes.
The man who runs this place is a true artist. My boss and I stop here every time we get supplies for work and we have never had anything but an amazing experience. The food is fresh and every bite offers an explosion of flavor. I love the portobello sandwich. It is sautéed to perfection. The pastries and desserts are to die for as well. Fairly priced with huge portions. You have to try this place. You will go again!!!!
Just checked this place out for lunch today and they were so kind. Gave us a small sampling of a dessert while we waited and it was tasty! Thank you.Ordered the chicken sandwich and 2 empanadas (curry & spinach/ricotta) and they were all good. Definitely worth going if you work in the area.
Every bite was perfection! The chicken curry empanada was flaky on the outside, warm on the inside, and super tasty. It was perfectly cooked. The pastrami sandwich could not have had a better balance of flavors. It was complex without being overwhelming. Every ingredient was fresh and well planned. The desserts here are super yummy too. I could not have had a better meal. The man behind the counter was sweet, soft spoken and kind. The prices were also VERY reasonable. Don't be fooled by the industrial building exterior. This is well worth the stop.
The turkey sandwich was as the absolute best we ever had! The focaccia bread is delicious. And Larry’s pastries are amazing. Definitely not expensive and fabulous quality. Wonderful!
Was just looking for some lunch near my office and ended up finding this unassuming spot. Blew my mind. Everything is delicious. I will be back any chance I get. Highly recommend.
THE BEST sandwich shop. I didn't know sandwiches could be so good. The price is perfect for the amount of food you get and that's coming from a big eater. His pastries are to die for and his service is impeccable. You have to go here. The picture below is the pastrami (100/10) and there's quite a lot of pastries that aren't listed on the menu.
You can tell the man has passion by the food he makes. Presentation and environment is great; The food is top quality and handled with great care. Definitely recommend this as a go to spot.
My friend and I just discovered this place and we’re blown away with the chicken curry and spinach & ricotta empanadas and we split the turkey sandwich on ciabatta bread. It was all so tasty and fresh!! And the owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. And don’t forget the desserts… yummy!!! Will definitely be ordering food from here regularly. Don’t let the small size inside or small signage outside fool you… the taste & quality are outstanding!
