Came to try it out since I’ve never been to this location before. Not that delicious but they give a fair portion. The bread isn’t that fresh or well baked but meat quantity is sufficient. There should be better options in the area. Honestly these people probably haven’t been to Taiwan in a looooong time cause this needs a little more to be considered Taiwanese.
Classy taiwanese breakfast place since 1990. Soy milk, fried donut, etc.
Great foods.
Googled a nearby eatery for you-tiao, and were quite disappointed. The dumpling dish had 3 broken ones... leek box has only one, and deep fried. Salted bean curd toppings were subpar. You-tiao and beef bing are good. Service was great, greeted right away and food came up quickly. A few flies in the shop. Will drive further to Yi-Mei next time.
I am Taiwanese and I identify this is the worst Taiwanese breakfast place. Ordered a beef tray cake(牛肉捲餅)and cost me $10 bucks but only to find there were four overcooked tiny pieces. Go to Huge Tree and Kang Kang food court, their beef tray cake cost the same price but wwwwaaay better than this trashy place no matter on quantity and quality!!! Also their turnip cake is the worst I have ever gotten in SGV.
Legit Taiwanese breakfast.Eateries don't normally crisp up the turnip cakes like they do but I like them that way. Also try their bah-wan.
Came here early morning before 8, had their #2 soy bean drink $1.95 and #15 baked turnip cake $2.50. A change from Western breakfast.Soy milk came pre sweetened ( most competitors let you put sugar in yourself to taste), fortunately it was just right as I don't like too sweet.Baked turnip cake was hot and flaky.According to their sign, this and a second location are the only authorized Yung Ho in the US. Well I've visited their Taiwan locations few times, very good as well. On the other hand I find many competitors are just as good.
Great breakfast foods. Big jugs of soy milk is delicious.
Delicious food. Taste is authentic Taiwanese food. Price is reasonably affordable! Must try sweet soybean milk, and salted rice roll. For the latter, add simmered egg and sour vegetable -- these make a perfect traditional Taiwanese salty rice roll!
