Had this in Taiwan before so wanted to see if it meets expectations. It has an open kitchen and is set up so you can see the process of making the boba balls, cooking boba, and assembling the drinks.Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - large brown sugar boba milk. The boba is cooked in brown sugar and so amazingly soft and chewy. The milk is creamier than normal. They have something similar to a sea salt foam or something at the top to add a bit of saltiness to cut through the sweetness. For the amount of brown sugar you see, it's actually not overwhelmingly sweet like it can get from artificial tea.Ambience: 5/5 - store is clean and bright and you can watch them make the boba through each step. Large tvs at the top to show different processes as well. A little confused at the tiny shoe shop in the cornerService: 5/5 - polite and professionalValue for price: 3/5 - one of the more expensive bobas at $8 for a large. Amazing boba but not going to visit very often due to the price
Place was packed. For some reason we got our drinks before quite a few other groups even though they ordered before us.Tried one of the limited drinks, melona boba milk, which has strawberry boba. It was super good and refreshing, perfect for summer.The ice cream boba looks and sounds good, but the portion size is so small, smaller than their normal boba drink size. It’s already quite pricey.It’s 50 cents extra if you opt for alternative milk.
Delicious boba spot to come to.I highly recommend the taro milk tea, it is actually made with taro bits and it not the generic purple color as other places that use powders.The Dalgona coffee is pretty good too. The foam they use is really concentrated so coffee lovers will absolutely love this beverage.My only grip here is they will not substitute strawberry boba for regular brown sugar boba. They make their matcha tea with strawberry boba flavored balls. They refuse to put the the black bobas in that one specific drink which is crazy since I am the one paying for the drink. Other than that this place is a great place to try.
Both drinks tasted great, but the sugar flavor of the boba combined with the strong oolong flavor was overwhelming. That along with the price made me drop one star. Still worth a try if you’ve never had it before (housemade boba and signature drinks), but it wouldn’t be one of my go-to boba places.
Love the clean and spacious space. They made their own boba and it was entertaining to watch them making it. The boba are nice but it became a little mushy after a while. I tried the gold milk tea, the taste is no different then the usual milk tea ? and it was expensive. But, I'm glad I tried it ! Overall, a nice place and a good milk tra.
My friend recommended this place to me. I got the Dalgona coffee boba milk. The drink looks appealing. It was good, but felt a little heavy. I'd try the Melona green drink time since my friend liked it a lot.

The drinks we received did not look like the ones on the menu or displays. The drinks were just okay, nothing special. In fact, we were somewhat disappointed. You can get better boba drinks two blocks away at Twinkle at cheaper prices.
Best brown sugar boba so far. They caramelized the boba in a wok. Soo delicious. Sometimes there is a wait because it is made to order. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Lots of selections, very clean, lots of free parking and they have restrooms. Definitely worth a taste. This place is a must visit.
This place is located on the corner of New Ave and Valley Blvd at a traffic heavy location.Since XFT is a chain, I’ve tried their boba in z Vancouver before and loved it!Came on a Friday night and there was a crowd but the wait wasn’t bad. Drinks are a bit pricey in relation to the size and quantity. I ordered their most popular drink and that didn’t disappoint. They have options to substitute milk with Lactaid or oat milk whic is also great. Sugar level can’t be a judged for the milk series.Will definitely come back to try the other drinks since they have quite a variety.
