I try my best to find the positive in not so pleasant situations, but this was by far the worst shusi we've ever had. Half the fish was dry and off color The other half was abnormally colorful and mushy. So mushy, we thought it was the brown avocado until we removed it. All the shusi was tasteless and thin. Im convinced they raised the price and cut the size of the the rolls. We thew it out about a quarter of the way in. I'm giving an extra star for effort.

Not as good as Little Tokyo. But close!

This is my favorite sushi place in L.A. definitely in Alhambra. Staff is always friendly, plenty of parking, and the food is delish. Plenty of appetizers to start you off, my favorite being the snow bombs. The plates are plentiful, and while yes the prices have gone up since the pandemic, there’s plenty to share with your friends or guests. Also during the week, beer is cheaper, and that’s an all day thing. The menu is huge, and so many options to fill your palette. The bento box for non sushi lovers is great and very tasty. This place is perfect for sushi beginners and pros.

Great place to eat for Valentine's Day.

Today I visited since covid first started. I was shocked to see how expensive everything was. Almost about $2-4 dollars more on all their plates. Also they no longer serve their Shani Shabu which was my favorite. But that's ok there are a few walking distance places that specialize in Shabu Shabu. I would still visit again. Their sushi and bento specials are still good.

Pretty solid sushi experience here last night. The portions are generous, flavor is good, ambiance is cozy with a fun retro feel, and the staff are super friendly, welcoming and attentive. They have a fairly large menu. I ended up going with the Golden Roll - shrimp tempura, cream cheese (hello??!! Yummm), crab, topped with spicy crab. It was pretty good - not too spicy at all - mild to medium. I enjoyed it. I asked for a side of spicy Mayo too - and it was not what I expected - it was super spicy and had a different flavor so I'm not sure if they make it in house? Was too spicy for me lol! My partner in crime got the pick 3 dinner combo - these come in a sort of Bento box presentation- very nice! And it includes miso soup and a salad - the salad dressing totally rocked!! Sort of a mild thousand island type with a slight peanutty flavor - hard to explain but I loved it! Comes with a large serving of rice. He got the Spicy Albacore roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and the Salmon roll. I tried the two spicy rolls - they had a good flavor but were insanely spicy - was just too much for me but my husband loved them. I didn't try the Salmon roll bc he said it didn't taste like anything - basically no flavor at all. So I can't say I recommend it. But everything else is good - just be aware it's medium to hot spicy. Our friend also got the pick 3 dinner combo with the mixed tempura, chicken teriyaki, and a spicy tuna roll. I didn't try any of it but he said it was excellent! And it also came with a large serving of rice. The ambiance is fun! Very retro decor and it's nice bc each seating is kind of separated so your party gets some cozy privacy - and the colors are warm and inviting - very welcoming! And the staff are so attentive - our drinks never ran dry and our dirty dishes were cleared away quickly etc. And they were packed! So the service here is excellent! Parking is ample - it's off Main Street in Alhambra so it's either street parking and there are also several large, multiple-storied parking garages- one even right behind Tomomi. It has 5-6 levels, stairs and an elevator. We had no issues finding parking even on a busy Friday night once we got past the 4th floor. And the best part about the location is it's surrounded by tons of other shops, restaurants, and dessert places! Great entertainment and people watching too if you want to walk off your dinner. I'm sure we'll be back at some point!

Really delicious and great service. The lunch special was a lot of great food. Felt very welcome. Everyone was very respectful and compliant with health precautions.

Very tasty Sushi restaurant with reasonable price went here on a friend birthday. The only thing I would like to see is staff singing happy birthday, which other restaurants will offer, other than that I would recommend this restaurant if you looking for sushi roll or Sushi

Eel , yellowtail, and Uni. No yakatori, even though it says it on the entrance. Not bad not great.

Sushi was good, the box meat and chicken were not good. We told the Manager and he removed the charge. Thanks
