Not my first time around here but the Pastrami-Burger was even better than before. I can’t see any burger-joint or restaurant topping this fabulous monstrosity! And it’s very clean here too.
Went to another The Hat in Temple City weeks before and can confirm that the taste and quality are uniform across locations. Ordered the Pastrami Dip again and very satisfied. Good portion of pastrami for the price. If you're trying to be health conscious, split one for two and eat some greens from elsewhere haha. Beware, it can get a little messy to consume.
super delicious! one of my favorite burger places. onion rings were also super yummy, not soggy like some others I've tried.
Hands down, worlds best pastrami! ?I moved to Arizona a few years ago so when I’m come back to visit family, I stop by The Hat. Amazing food with huge portions. ?A pastrami dip, small fries and small drink ran me $21 but you could honestly split the sandwich and fries so $10 for 2 people isn’t bad. I wanted the chili cheese pastrami fries but it would have been too much for me so next time I will get that instead. No regrets on stopping here. The Hat is the best. ❤️
Quaint place. The pastrami is wonderful. Loved every bite.
I absolutely love their pastrami sandwich. Hands down the best! They also have the best chilli (cheese) fries too.
I love this place! The food is delicious and the Manager is always very friendly. Out of all locations this one is my favorite spot. The pastrami are always super full of meat, they surely know how to keep the customer satisfied.
Finally I found the best grilled cheese sandwich! Nice stuff and fast pick up!
I haven't been to The Hat in a long time! Was passing by I started to crave a pastrami. I knew I could only eat half, I stopped got one and it was the BOMB!! Like I remembered. The place was clean, they were fast on your order, and the fries were great! ?????
The self proclaimed "World Famous" Pastrami Sandwich, The Hat is an iconic institution in California. After multiple referrals, I made it a point to visit the original location off W. Valley Blvd. in Alhambra. Portions are generous, but not cheap. I was only able to eat half my sandwich. Customer service was non-existent, which is fairly typical at a popular, churn and burn type establishment like this. It's sometimes nice to just get a small smile and feel appreciated from time to time too though. Food was ok but underwhelming. I actually wanted to get the roast beef sandwich and chili fries, but didn't want to go there and NOT get the pastrami. If I were to do it all over again, I would probably get my first choice.
