Cueball is my 2nd home away from home. I love to play pool. I even have my own cues. They 9foot diamonds and Brunswick tables. The staff are very friendly. Plus I tip them cause they give you great customer service.
this place has so much charm to it, i love the vibes and the burritos are SO DELICIOUS
13$ an hour for pool pay after you play beers are a little pricey but served fast with no wait right to your pool table
Sure a hidden gem in city. Busy but always found a table to play onVery open and comfortable
Noticed how they don’t have prices for both foods and drinks. They select any amount price as they want based on how you dress to determine what price they are giving you. I have friends who have to pay a few dollars more than me on foods and drinks. Absolutely rip off.
After we dinner then walk around and shop in Pasadena we headed to Alhambra to the Cue Ball Inc to pool for a while. It's been a long time I play pool and my wife first time playing our friends have played pool before. The Cue Ball always get really busy during on Saturday night. The Cue Ball is cash only..
I.love this place, it's not too loud and the employees have a great attitude ?
They ask for your ID as a deposit/insurance before assigning you a table and handing you balls to play with. I went last night and when I went to return my balls and pay, they couldn't find my ID. They asked if another person was me (another Chinese male with a vertical ID) and after a puzzled look for a minute, I figured out that they swapped my ID with another Asian party and handed my ID to the wrong person, who was already long gone. The management refused to be of any help and just took down my name and phone number and took my money. If this place is going to take my ID as insurance, shouldn't I get to keep the balls if they can't return my ID??? Besides this, I'm out $31 for the replacement of my ID and unable to drive until it arrives. I would highly recommend people to not patronize this business and to keep their IDs safe where it belongs, in their pocket.
December 2021 - Went around 9pm on a Saturday. There was no wait for an open pool table but there were plenty of people there.Food/Pricing - Didn't get any food or drinks but they do sell foods plus beer! The three of us were there for about 2 hrs and we paid $20. They keep one ID on file until you return the pool sticks, etc. and pay.Service/Ambiance - There's a jukebox where you can select music to play but if it's crowded then it might be a long while before your song comes on. Service is okay. The place looks decently clean, has dim lighting, and restrooms available.
Nice and mellow place to shoot pool. Not to crowded and mask is enforced.
