there's a couple sushi places in this general area so sushi me has some serious competition. I do feel like it's better than the other option on the same street in terms of quality - the fish was fresh and the food here didn't give me a 'bathroom moment' which is pretty standard. service was nice although we did get this random order of the salmon 2 piece when we asked for the roll. I appreciated getting coupons in the mail because it makes the price just a little bit better. all in all, a fine place to eat.
Quite possibly the worst sushi I've ever had. I didn't eat more than 1 piece of each. The agedashi tofu came out in tiny cubes swimming in a full bowl of broth. Service was spotty, nice kid, but not attentive at all.
Food is decent but beware of their online site if you order on their site. There is a delivery section. Business owner needs to remove that because they are lying to their customer. I was called by Julie saying they don't do delivery service. Okay no problem Please refund the delivery fee. She said it can't be done. Then please cancel the order and I will make one for pickup. She said she is new and would get assistance and call back which is fine. She called me back and said the order has been cancelled and to make one for pickup. 2 days later, both charges went through on my credit card. I went in on Friday and she said her manager is not there and to come back on Saturday and that I need to show proof that it went through. How is this my responsibility to needing to go back to right a wrong. Gas price is near 7 dollar a gallon. Disputing it through my credit card for 114 of overcharge.
Food was amazing as always.I think Robin should potentially consider going into a different profession. Really didn’t seem like she was enjoying herself and the only time she helped my table without waving her down several times was when she brought us to our table.
Found this place by accident, while getting our car serviced at Kia.If you like Bento box lunches this place is a great place and the rolls were very fresh, my boyfriend's useal is a yellowtail. Just look at that yellowtail, will definitely come back here.
Great sushi and all the employees are so welcoming and friendly. The baked lobster roll is a favorite of mine to order at other restaurants and they did great keeping up the reputation of the lobster roll!
Could not finish food. Was not appetizing at all (both presentation and taste wise). Edamame was undercooked, kimchi came long, thick and overall was hard to eat. All the fish on the sushi/sashimi was too thick, and the presentation was horrific. Also had hair in food (obviously not mine) and complained to waiter about it. Instead of apologizing or offering compensation, he asked me “would you like me to box that for you?”, to which I replied, “no there’s hair in my food.”Overall awkward service (they seemed understaffed too). Would not recommend.
Sushi me is definitely the best sushi spot in alhambra.Been here a few times already and I’ll be definitely coming back.
The food is very good. Service is good too. This is our first time here and there was some black spots on our Salmon Sashimi. We asked the staff and the chef quickly replaced another dish for us. I wanted to give minus point for that black spots on sashimi but their attitude saved our dinner. We will come back again. Pictures are our favorite dishes (I did not take picture of the Salmon Sashimi dish)
First time trying out location, I ordered the salmon teriyaki. It was over cooked, the sashimi was soft. I also ordered the teriyaki chicken. I wont be going there again, it was pricey and the quality of the food.
