Nothing fancy, generous portions, and if you lived in China, it will remind you of home.

Would go again next time I find myself in Alhambra. The wonton soup tasted bland at first, given time the flavor came through. Efficient and friendly service.
Only been here once for a take out order, but it didn't take very long and the prices are still pretty decent. I had the beef fried rice and also an order of beef and broccoli. I'm glad they wrapped the beef and broccoli in a separate bag, because the juices definitely seep out. Both dishes tasted great, so I think I'll definitely come back here to try out more.
First time coming here, ordered take out. I called in to order. They are open for dining!I ordered the beef & broccoli. About $14. It was good! Nice big portions! Can definitely share with a family. Will come back again to try other items.
They got a little cheap with the amount of squid with black bean sauce which I have been ordering since the 1980s , the food is great and the servers know me well and have been always friendly with me and my family
The food was good and tasty and the prices were extremely affordable. When you order a meat dish you'd expect more meat than veggies but this wasn't the case otherwise it was all around good.
Delicious food prepared to order everything comes to your table sizzling hot! My favorite is the Chile Pork Chops, sauteed string beans, sizzling beef, and fried shrimp; and, of course, rice and tea. This fed six people and there were no leftovers. I highly recommend Shanghai Yau Fat.
Fly in food, disregard of proper customer service.
From ordering to being ready for pickup is 10-15 minutes. Food is perfect and delicious!
