Best Hainan Chicken rice in town. Loved it back in college. Still love it now. Use all 3 of the sauces to get the best flavor. The garlic escargot also tastes great.
Comfort food that’s consistently dang good! The chicken and rice are super moist, but it’s the variety and quality/flavor of sauces that makes this place shine! There’s the orange (chili?), green (ginger), and black (soy) sauces - each are distinct, and each are wonderfully delicious.A 626 staple.

Their hainan chicken is... ok ?. I’ve had some really great hainan chicken in the past, so I was expecting something of similar caliber, but I was a little under-impressed. I got the dark meat, which I feel shouldn’t be too diff than the classic white meat. But the chicken was a little too salty, rice felt a little empty. The sauce wasn’t anything standout, and I feel the sauce is usually the difference maker. But for the price, I can’t complain, and I’d prob come again if I was in the area. Don’t forget—cash only!!
