Went to this restaurant yesterday around 6pm. The waiter that took my order said to pay after I received my order. Next thing I know they tell me cash only and I have to use their atm. My order was around $17. Their atm machine charged $2.69 for fees to withdraw $20 and today I was balancing my checking account and there was a $2.50 charge for that same withdrawal, which means I paid an additional $5.19 for the food I ordered. Being my first time there, I saw no sign warning that it was cash only and to make matters worse the fish had a off taste, not fresh. Called 2 speak to the mgr, was told no mgr there.

First off the customer service was the worst. I ordered house special fries rice, when I started eating it right away in the first few bites there was egg shells, not little bits of egg shells but huge pieces of egg shells. never eating there again.

Freshly made to order and served within minutes. The aroma and the look of each dish made the food even more delicious. They were out of a lot of items but the meal was still wonderful.

Long line during Chinese New year Eve shopping.Delicious Charsiu-- barbecue pork and roast duck & soybean sauce chicken drum sticks with seasoned boiled eggs etc

Worst experience I have ever had in my life. This place and its staff suck. Ordered online, was given the run around while a woman yelled at another customer. Told they didn't know how long the food would be. I'll take my money somewhere else. Get bent

I told my wife about Peking Duck, wasn't sure Sam Woo BBQ was still around. Last visit 20 years ago on Garvey, now on Valley. Did not disappoint duck excellent fried rice even better and cooked string beans very good

Like most Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant, you're not there for the service, you're therr to buy the product and leave. You'll get a good and an inexpensive product, fast. during the Thanksgiving, the line was long, but it moved quickly

We have been coming here for over 20+ years. Just a great little hole in the wall Cantonese restaurant. They are best known for their roasted duck, bbq pork, roast pork, chow mein (hong Kong style) and chow fun(dry). You can't beat the price...good chinese food does not have to be expensive. Unfortunately, since Covid 19, the menu is more limited and does not have a large selection.

No frills. An honest casual filling meal with prices and flavors that stay true from when I first ate here 30 years ago. Prices are fair and portions are hearty that I drive an hour to eat here. There's too many gimmicky food places now and I find myself easily picking this place for their BBQ meats and comfort foods. If you want your fancy service and dressed up plating etc, please go eat somewhere else and leave this place be. Some of else don't mind the cozy atmosphere with mostly Cantonese speaking staff, the mahjong tile clock, and unfaultable service.

It's really amazing how much places keep their original way of doing the food the way they always have done it for many years the place is comforting and as soon as you walk in the duck and pick are just in front of you crispy and dead the food is great but the only thing that I would like for them to change is to put a card payment machine because they only accept cash... But other than that is a really nice place to grab a bite to eat...
