nah this is wrong. i typically hate making these comments since fast food workers probably have it hard, but firstly, my order was wrong. i asked for the nacho fries with no beans and they gave me nachos with beans? it’s fine i’ll just see how it is. then we get to the beans, they genuinely look like the gray glop inside of the fake synthetic krabby patties. i saw someone else’s comment about health control and it should probably get looked into.

I love Pepe’s been going since the 70’s. But today was a huge disappointment. Got my same order I get every single time I’m in Alhambra. Taquitos had so little guacamole. About a quarter of what I usually get. Ordered 2 chili relleno burritos…no rice…extra sauce. Burritos had lots of rice and no sauce at all. They even read back my order when I got to the pick up window. I get the price increase and I’m fine with it but my food wasn’t worth the price. So bummed. And I TIP WELL. Bring back employees that actually care. I miss the brothers
All I can vouch for are the chicken flautas. I'm from Texas so or expectations may be different. In Texas flautas are supposed to be extra crispy. These were not crispy at all; kinda soggy in fact. Flavor was a bit off too. The guacamole was good as was the salsa. The drive through was very tight. Place was very busy at 9:30p. In short this place was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
Great hole in the wall spot. You know it's good when the place is small enough you almost miss it. And when you drive in, you can smell the food. This place is a keeper
Most disgusting meal I’ve ever had in my life. There is no way this was an accident. So please be aware of what they are serving you when ordering from this restaurant because they like to mess with the clients health. The only plate they will be serving you is food poisoning and stomach problems. This is something that every client should be aware of cause who knows what’s really going on in the kitchen. Also who knew that in this day in age now you even have to open up your food. Long story short, I was there with someone close to me, and we ordered what is on the receipt. Keep in mind that I was the last person at the window, and there was about ten cars in line before I took my order, and another ten customers while my order was being taken. I understand it was busy and close to closing time but that’s the reason why I called in advance to make sure my order was going to be made properly if not so I can respectfully just come in at another time. So I don’t know what type of burrito they made but this must be something new because I’ve never seen something like this in my life. The reason why I knew it was done purposely is because with there being so many clients that day, approximately 15-20 clients, I’m sure there would have been more than one complaint. There’s no way anyone would eat this. I’m sorry but this is something that should be taken seriously. I hope you guys get your Karma cause that’s dish is best served cold.
I absolutely lived the food. I got the flautas. One beef one chicken with rice and beans. Every piece of my meal was amazing and cooked to perfection! The flautas were flavorful and the beans and rice reminded me of how my Mexican grandmother used to make them. Thank you for reminding me of these flavors! I will be back to try more items from the menu!!
One of the best in the San Gabriel Valley.. all food super delicious!!! Bean and cheese with either the red or green sauce . I normally eat half with red chili and the other with green. Love it! Try it! Eat it!
I have been told this place is a good spot for food. It is worth the wait. The food tastes fantastic, the service is on point, and it's well priced. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Alhambra.
