We love this old school, adorable IHOP in Alhambra.It is all great. You will love it.The service is great. The staff is super friendly and boy are they fast. Our order was ready and hot before I could sit too long.All of the food was great. We did breakfast there and it was so good I almost forgot to take a photo or two.We will be back.
So they have this rewards program. I did not know I had signed up but I automatically signed up because I guess I had ordered previously to go.The food was great. The service was great wait time was great (we knew what we wanted so when we ordered drinks we ordered our food) saved lots of time.The issue was when I paid with 3 gift cards ($25.00 each) one gift card has about $6.00 remaining. Well after I paid he (server) let me know 2 gift cards now had 0 balance and the other card $6.00 he gave me a receipt but nothing to scan for the rewards. I mentioned it to him he said "probably rewards are not set up yet). REALLY...ITS WRITTEN EVERYWHERE IN THE STORE. I SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE $5.00 TIP. So I did not make an issue...but I wanted to go back but decided to let it go...I started to think maybe because he swiped the gift cards in 3 way transaction because the receipt that I had with the remaining gift card had a total of about $18.00 and that was not the grand total I started to think it must have been the 1st receipt with the total cost that had the bar code. But since I was paying with gift cards I did I did not want to make it difficult because you are able to pay with the app.So lesson learned. We will be back and we will see what happens next.Reason for 3 stars would have been 5 but not knowing what is going on at a location you work at and costing me points...this is the result. Also he (server) was in a rush to go because he was going on break.
Good quality. The all you can eat pancakes is a good deal. So is there after three bargain menu. Good service
First time here the other day and last time I'll be coming to this location.Big mistake of trying out there burger it was bland and no seasoning whatsoever. A family member Didn't receive there order, another family member was waiting on there order and waited 20 minutes while half the family was already done,Take in mine it wasn't packed at all an the order we were waiting on were pancakes, so we cancelled the other half of our order an paid for our food and left.So eat here at your risk
New things on the menu was an improvement but still not a full selection of syrups or dressings for salads or pancakes.

I had been craving pancakes for weeks and decided to go to IHOP for breakfast. I don't recall the last time I was there perhaps when my son was a tween; I was looking forward to some buttery, fluffy pancakes and sausage. I've never been so disappointed than when I cut into my first bite of pancake, it was dry and and tasteless. The service was, I might add, excellent, I noticed all the servers were polite and friendly; I could tell they were understaffed but that didn't seem to matter, they still provided great service.
Cold in L A tonight. Wanted bowl of soup and told dont serve anymore. Out of Italian salad dressing. Ordered hot turkey dinner plate. Served without gravey
