Being an avid chef myself. The food was a 3 out of 10, and that's being kind. We received cheap little plastic utensils to eat our meal with in a go to container to eat in the restaurant. The hospitality was selective, and would give them a 2 out of 10. These people need to wake up with some real passion in serving real authentic Mexican food like other excellent Mexican restaurant I frequent. First impression was not a good one. I truly doubt I will being eating at this place in the future.
This place is going through the pandemic eating out of the 10 that you take your food home in plastic silverware the food was just okay it's very dimly lit inside it's an older place it just didn't seem like you know the fun Mexican restaurants that I'm used to like margaritas on Rosemead Boulevard in Don Cuco in Newhall maybe once they can get some more hired help they can have a dishwasher and get everything back up to normal
Outstanding “Americanized” Mexican food. Margaritas are super solid. It’s kind of a hidden gem and would fly past it if you weren’t paying attention on the road. The interior looks like a super old-school Italian restaurant from the 60s, which makes this place extra special and rad. Hope they never change the interior it’s a true gem. My only complaint is I wish they were open on Sundays.
Terrible food, Terrible service but excellent margaritas. Now I see why people just come to drink, not to dine.
It was my first time dining here and I am so amazed with their Food & Drinks ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It was wow also not forget to mention Their outstanding hospitality ❤️ Thank you for complimentary drinks ❤️❤️❤️

It's a mom-and-pop restaurant owned from 40 years ago haven't been there for the last 20 years and I just felt like getting a Modelo and a shot of tequila and I ended up getting the seafood chimichanga plate and it was excellent and then what was really cool is the waitresses because it was the next day was Thanksgiving they were giving away free shots of Patron Silver for all of us to drink and they gave us two complimentary shots of Patron so I tipped them a good cash tip I love this place now I'm going to go back before Christmas

I've been eating here for more than 35 years and I always want to come back. Owners are great people and maintain a great staff who are always welcoming. The food is great, my favorite is anything with the ranchera sauce! Margaritas are a must have!
