Really good sandwiches and the best French bread anywhere. Right amount of crunch and still chewy. Expect crumbs in your lap if you eat in the car. Iced coffee is bomb too. All sandwich shops should buy their bread here.
The meat to bread ratio is great and it’s fresh. Always ask to get your banh mi cut in half.
I love this little sandwich place! The prices are quite reasonable and there is a huge selection. My favorite sandwich is the Special Sandwich (#2). I always get with the veggies on the side as I don't like my sandwich getting soggy.Parking is sometimes hard to find but so worth it! They are also cash only so please be mindful before you get here. Though there is a Chase bank in the same plaza where they are located.
We were shopping in the area and we hadn't eaten and we didn't want to spend a lot of time and money eating out either. I ordered the popular BBQ pork sandwich with everything including jalapeños. The bread is so fresh and perfectly crunchy and the ingredients were flavored right and fresh tasting. That's a good value sandwich especially when it keeps me full half the day. CASH ONLY.
Ba Le is not only tied for my favorite overall bahn mi spots, it has THE BEST vegetarian bahn mi (14. bahn mi chay). While most places offer a meat substitute like “vegetarian ham” Ba Le makes a delicious sautéed tofu with veggies. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Really good sandwich with decent coffee is a good way to enjoy an early Sunday afternoon.ITEM'S ORDERED:Chicken banh mi w/ egg addedVietnamese CoffeeTASTE:I've had a fair amount of banh mi & this was one of the better ones. Bread & veggies were fresh, chicken was tasty & a solid portion of it as well. Decided to add egg which just made it even more of a meal. I enjoyed how it wasn't just drenched in mayo, but rather had the right amount & went well with the light soy sauce flavor.Vietnamese Coffee was pretty decent. Not the best I've had but also not the worst. Really just a little too weak of a coffee flavor for me, but imagine most would be fine with it.SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:Service was friendly & it wasn't too difficult ordering in English as I've noticed at other places. They are cash only FYI.They are located in right off Atlantic & Valley in the Starbucks/Chase plaza. Pretty easy to find a parking spot but just FYI sometimes really busy because the Starbucks drive thru. There's so many different banh mi places around but I'll say I was impressed enough with this one so I'd go back here.
Great desserts and sandwiches cheap and tasty, but remember, cash only!
Have been coming to this place regularly in the past 10 years. Small place, really good banh mi and spring roll and.... Basically everything. Good price. They made their bread in house and daily; Crispy and light, and perfect for banh mi. Spring rolls are light and refreshing. Vietnamese coffee is strong.
I came across this place before heading back to NY. The sandwich was pretty good! Reminds me of my moms, so that’s a good sign!!! Ice coffee was perfect. Definitely recommend!
Surprisingly better than Lee's sandwiches. I love their bread
