i’ve come to this boba shop many times and ordered the same drink (mostly) each time-so i have a good idea about how the drink usually tastes. today when i got my drink, it tasted like nothing. i got 100% sweetness too. i asked two other people to try it to see if it tasted funny to them and they both said it either tasted like nothing or like water. when we went back to ask them to remake it, the staff wasn’t very nice about it. usually, they apologize for having messed up the drink, but this time they just told us it had sugar in it already. they ended up taking the straw out of the popped lid and putting more syrup (im guessing) into the hole left from the straw. overall it wasn’t a very pleasant experience and im sad to say i don’t think i’ll be coming back any time soon.

A relaxing ambiance inside with quite a unique selection of fruit drinks (including coffee mousse - with tiny bobas) that are refreshingly good.

Really good selection of drinks very helpful when ordering new things to try!! Love going to this place?

High qualify. Pricey. Near closing time, they ran out of pearls. Understandable; yet, order incomplete.

I love that they have mindful options, of organic milk, nut milks, no artificial flavors. I ordered the black milk tea with red bean and it was so fulfilling.I’m glad I got light sweetness because I still found it sweet enough for me.They were friendly and the customer service was great.

One of the best fruit tea I ever had. Deserves 5 stars. I will be back.

Tasty boba drink's.

Visiting Yifang today made us sick. The worst bubble tea experience I've had in the East Bay.(EDIT: It's telling that instead of apologizing, the Owner says I was never there. But the pending CC charge says "YIFANG TAIWAN FRUIT TE". Order #92 for black tea oat milk with coffee jelly on 9/6. I had to remember the number to get my order, because the cashier was in a tizzy about the receipt not printing.)I've been to the location four times since they opened, and each visit has been a uniquely bad experience:Trip 1) I ask for my drink with soy milk. It comes out with regular milk. Not having taken the receipt, I pay again to have it made right.Trip 2) I ask for my drink with oat milk. They don't note this on the ticket. Having paid double last time, I'm more careful and spot the omission immediately this time. They have to issue me a refund and retake my payment due to the upcharge for oat milk.Trip 3) I ask to just omit the milk. They refuse because, in their words, "the drink will taste better with milk and you will like it more". (But they are happy to take extra money to substitute a milk alternative?) I pick a different drink.Trip 4) My spouse asks for a drink with oat milk. The screen says oat milk. We pay the upchage for oat milk. (Ironically, no receipt because they were out of receipt paper.) We both get gas, cramping, and diarrhea. It was painfully obvious, literally, that we were not given oat milk.

Absolutely no consistency with the drinks. Came in multiple times for the same drink and they were different every single time. They say they can’t edit drinks because it’s all set recipes, but are always different

recommended sugar levels are a joke. the yifang fruit tea recommendation was 50% but it was way too bitter and not enjoyable at all. i think if it wasn't recommended on the menu and we didnt order it at 50% it would have been good. the sugar cane drink was pretty good.
