Best sushi ever! Been around for years amazing place! I enjoy all of it.
Honestly love it here. Great food, great people. I eat here with my mom and order takeout when I’m trying to treat myself.
Really good service and lots of unique choices for sushi.
Very quick and attentive service. Sushi was fresh and beautifully made. Calamari and edamame were excellent as well! I had Sumo and Ninja rolls. The ninja roll is hot though, be warned!
Sushi wasn’t that great and prices are way too high. I ordered the soft shell crab roll and we got the potstickers. The soft shell crab roll was ok. The potstickers were terrible.
As a lifelong resident of Alameda, I've been coming to Yellowtail for years (since they were located on Park Street if I want to date myself) Between here and visiting Faith at Kamakura before they closed, these were always my go to spots. Fish is super fresh and clean. The portions are perfect and the price is fair. The real gem is the staff. I love coming here. Its one of those places that makes you feel good. It almost feels like that theme song from "Cheers" where they sing "sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came". They take pride in their work and you can tell.
Good Japanese food off the beaten path, actually bigger inside than the subtle alley entryway presents. I wish the sunomono salad had more greens. Was more like an hors d'oeuvre, tasty and great quality tako of course.
Outstanding sushi & other food. Efficient service. Very clean.
Delicious and very friendly staff and owner.
My first visit to this gem of a restaurant hidden in a courtyard off Park Street. This is a Japanese restaurant that is the real deal. Excellent sashimi, beautiful sushi and lovely dinners. I wasn't very adventuresome my first time out, but I plan to visit again to try some of the beautiful sushi specials. Everything was delicious, service was prompt without being overbearing. All in all a very nice experience.
