VJ responds quickly on google chat! The pizza is really good and he found a great dark beer.Since I did not know the place I’ve asked him about suggestions, yes the pizza had chicken and garlic and … it was great! All place was streaming UFC and it’s clearly a sports bar with different age groups.Enjoy.

Divey old pizza joint with beers and big ol Tv's. Super duper wings. A nice place to watch a game I suppose. I would definitely go back for those habanero wings. Nice staff too and loads of parking out front obviously because of the shopping center. We went on Xmas day. It was nice. :P

Just moved to the area and the pizza reminded me of back home. Ordered garlic bread and pizza. It was really good. Oh, and they have the good ranch not the fake ranch the GOOD ranch.

I stopped in here for a beer after work and was thrilled to see all the taps available! They had at least 15 beers on tap, most provided by local brewers. They also have a full bar and wine for people not feeling the beer scene. What earned this place 5 stars was the VEGAN PIZZA ? They had it advertised on the counter so I inquired and the owner informed me they had just got a new cheese he wanted to try. I volunteered to be the Guinea pig and was not disappointed! Let's start with the pepperoni, delicious, not greasy, flavorful, and just the right about of kick. The cheese melted beautifully, becoming creamy. It wasnt rubbery or bland at all. The sauce and crust brought it all together to give it the texture and taste of real pizza! I highly recommend to all fellow vegans and even those nonvegans looking to try something new.

Best pizza I've had in Alameda, maybe the East Bay honestly ...Their pepperoni / sausage melody w/ white sauce was incredible. Best part - crust. Amazing stuff.

We went there for the 1st time since the name change this past Saturday. After entering the place and seeing most of the clientele sitting at the bar with only one person working we chose to have our order to go. We arrived home, 3 minutes away, to find both orders wrong per our instruction of condiments; and each were advertised to have "wedges" included... the so called "wedges" were wilted, cold French Fries. The meat of our burgers tasted weird. The to go order came with no napkins or side condiments. Gave it a try and unfortunately very disappointed!

First time here. Didn’t realize the place had changed. I think it used to be a Straw Hat pizza some years ago. Nicely designed place.

I googled “pizza near me” and used their link to order pizza. I paid (and did not leave a tip since I was driving to pick it up) and arrived at the store within the allotted time window to pick up my order. I was ignored at the register for about 10 minutes. Nice. After they had no choice but to acknowledge me I learn there was a “technical problem” and they never got my order. But my cc payment to them went through. Weird how that worked out. After waiting another 10+ minutes (on top of the 40 minutes from the time I placed my order) my food was ready. It wasn’t piping hot like it had just come out of the oven. Taste was above average.Given all the options out there for pizza I’d give this place a pass for the poor service.

My partner and I visited to watch Sunday night football paired with beer and pizza -- and VJ's delivered! (pun intended) Their beer list is awesome -- Hen House, Faction, and other craft beers, plus all the usuals. They even have growlers to go! The pizza was *chef's kiss*. We tried the Tandoori Chicken Pizza and WOW was it was delicious. Not to mention, we met the owner, and he was so friendly and hospitable. If you're looking for crisp, craft beer on draft, tasty pizza, and TV's for your sports viewing pleasure: visit VJ's!
