Loved the food and our server. Never got her name but she was wonderful. Thanks for the anniversary dessert!
Good food, great waiter and very pleasant weather on the patio.
A simply wonderful restaurant all-around. Tastes will have you coming back again and again....
Trabocco is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and well prepared. The server is very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials, he was attentive but not overbearing. He had a very pleasant manner which added to our enjoyment of the evening. Portions were not too small nor too large. Highly recommended.
So delicious! We canât go often due to probe but it is our go-to for a special occasion dinner!!!!
Still one of my favorite spots! The hubby and I dined at Trabocco for yet another birthday celebration. He had the special, roasted lamb served with roasted vegetables. And because it's my birthday I had the squid ink risotto AND the oxtail ravioli (boxed for the next day's lunch). As always everything was perfectly prepared and the service amazing. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel special. Love the tiramisu for dessert.
Lasagne had satiny pasta, excellent Bolognese sauce, quite divine. The special lamb shank with polenta hit all the right notes (we didn't quite finish and took it home where the bone and bits of meat flavored some delicious white beans). We had soft polenta with the lamb shank and crispy polenta wedges with the grilled salmon. Hard to choose between the two polentas, both excellent and the right pairing with the main. The grilled salmon was still moist in the middle, always a good test of a kitchen. Our fourth main was the gnocchi with butternut squash. The gnocchi was very light, paired well with the sweet squash, and like the salmon, a nice balance with the two more robust mains. Our contorni was the sauteed green beans with citrus. Delish! And yes, we had dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and a creme brulee with that desirable balance of silky custard and crackle sugar crust. Can't wait until we next visit to try more of this restaurant.
Birthday dinner for daughter. Fantastic service. Good food and excellent complementary tiramisu.
I would rate Trabocco as one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bay Area. The food and service were perfect. Unfortunately there was a band playing just outside of the restaurant and it was nearly impossible to converse. That, of course, was not the fault of Trabocco. Iâm sure the folks that were not dining at Trabocco loved the music because it was a good band. I will be back.
I was surprised that this place got such good reviews. I guess I have higher standards, think Cotogna in San Francisco. The service was good and the food was mediocre tasting. I ordered the lasagna and I make a tastier lasagna at home. We had the broccoli rabe pizza as an appetizer and it was okay. Again, my broccoli rabe pizza at home is tastier. I guess the lesson is to order items that I donât make better at home.
