The sushi was good overall. You can tell the fish and rolls are of good quality. The reason why I gave this place 3 stars is not because of the food itself, but the service. When we arrived, we put our party on a waitlist which was not very long. The place was certainly busy, but there were clearly tables open. The person seating guests appeared to be gone for a while, leaving guests waiting. After being seated and ordering our food, the first few rolls came out fairly quick, but the baked rolls that we ordered took a lot longer to come out. In addition, our server never came back to check up on us and he seemed very busy with other tables. I am not sure if they are understaffed or not, but each server appeared to be handling a lot at once. Overall, the service could've been better, but the food was great.

Always a great experience, but be prepared to wait!Every time we come, whether it is weekdays or weekends it is packed. They do have a waitlist, and they do online orders so you may want to try that if you are in a rush. The views are great, and I would recommend it as a place to have a casual date. This time around we got two lion kings, two miso soups, and shared an As. The lion king was amazing as always!

I used to like this place a lot but it has changed. Fish quality has gone from good to inedible. While pieces of fish are large they are not well cut and also the consistency and texture are not great. Given that prices have increased and I any supermarket premade sushi (which I do not like either) seems better there I now prefer to go other places. Please note that they have tried to charge mandatory tip for 6 people when they party was smaller.

Never s bad experience here! Definitely recommend for a Friday treat! There are a lot of options to choose from and all of them are reasonably priced. My parents love this place, so I'll definitely be coming back?

The service was horrible! No words other then that. This was our first time coming here and definitely will be our last. We got there got seated it took them at least 20 mins to come take our order. Once we finally ordered people who got there way after us got there food before us parties of 6+ who got there 30 mins after us and they got all there sushi rolls at ones and we still had nothing at our table. Manager did nothing to try to fix the situation just said he would “talk to staff” wouldn’t recommend and WONT be back. Manager doesn’t care about clients.

Busy spot..food was good...servers can be a little bit more attentive too customers... We was at the outside bar ..and the table next too us kept wondering if the server was ever going too serve us?.. Check if we was ok or needed anything?.. But that didnt happen..not even a refill... Other than that..food was good..and a good sunset too end the night..

Tasty sushi and excellent late night food option if you're in the neighborhood. I prefer to order takeout from this location and then take it to the beach since it's close by. If you have dinner here, you can see the sunset from the dinning area windows. Great location.

The sushi is good and the view is very good

If you are living in Alameda, you have to go here once and then you will never go back to any other sushi place. It's like Sushi heaven, they have freshest sushi I have ever eaten. We usually order sushi with their veg tempura and for dessert their matcha tea tempura ice cream is amazing.

Such a good sushi place . Great ocean view , clean and fast service . The fish was fresh and really tasty ! Highly recommend it
