Southshore Cafe opens at 8 AM and closes at 3 PM daily. They only serve breakfast and lunch. I like their French toast combo (2 eggs and 2 sausage links). The cafe is definitely popular with seniors citizens. The cafe is a throwback to the 60's. My husband and I have only been here a few times. Breakfast is very good. The portions are generous. The waitresses are pleasant and friendly.Recommendation: blueberry waffles, omelettes, club sandwiches.
This spot is now one of our favorite brunch spots. My wife and I come here whenever we want brunch.The Cafe's atmosphere is nice and quaint. A nice medium sized restaurant that usually doesn't feel like it's packed with people. Most of the customers who come here are regulars.Opened from 8am-3pm they have a menu that serves an american style breakfast all day, and lunch/dinner options. They have a small section of Thai food on the menu that sticks out like a sore thumb, but we have yet to try it. But what we have tried, the food is pretty good and the portions are great. I'm a pretty big guy, but one plate is definitely filling. (So far I've had the Loco moco, eggs benedict, and Salisbury steak.Service was great. The waiters and waitresses are always so nice and smiling. They come around regularly and often to refill your coffee. My wife has asked to replace some sides on a few occasions, and they've always been accommodating.(Changing rice to hashbrowns on the Loco moco).I definitely recommend this spot.
The quality food was poor. It was overcrowded. I don't understand what makes people go there to eat. Had to take back my tea I could not eat my food because I was overly cook and the fries taste like it was on somebody else's plate. I repeat that the fries taste like they were from somebody else's plate. I do not recommend this place. They really need to clean up and renew their food menu
Great service and great food. I’ve been going here a long time and they are familiar with me. If you’re looking for a consistent local breakfast spot, this is the place for sure !
The most friendliest group of people always on time with coffee or water so whatever time you have to wait you don't even know it and the food is great whether it's breakfast lunch never had dinner but the Thai rice is delicious so is your French toast all the meals that I've tried are great.

We only eat breakfast here. The servings are always generous the food is always hot. The French toast the pancakes and the waffles are always cooked perfect and have a really nice flavor. You can't go wrong with the burgers they're actually very good old school old fashioned diner type burgers. Really really good
I am very picky about my food. The Southshore Cafe is not over the top brunch food. Instead it is a family run, old school spot where the food is consistent, tasty with hearty portions and friendly, great customer service.
My co-worker told me about this place a couple of months ago...so I decided to try it and see how good is the food I went to get some breakfast I had three pancakes with a side of hash browns and a cup of coffee it was good the quality was ok the staff is very friendly they make you feel like you are home I recommend this place for anybody looking for some good breakfast
