Good food, good service, free warm bread with garlic, Parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar n olive oil. Good potion size
This was our first time at Past Pelican. I wanted to take my mom and sister out for lunch for their birthdays, and I wanted to take them someplace with nice views and a good atmosphere. The restaurant is lovely. We had a table overlooking the water and Jack London Square. The service was great! They took care of us without being intrusive, and the food was amazing. Our order included an ahi tuna salad, a meatloaf sandwich, ravioli, and a salmon salad. The food was fresh and very well prepared. We had a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting. I HIGHLY recommend Past Pelican. We'll be coming back!
Omggggg was looking for an Italian food place to go to for my Birthday Dinner and stumbled across this one.... and let me tell youuuu, from the Atmosphere to the FOOD, TO THE VIEW! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! This place is a most deff new go-to Italian delight for me and my family!!! Their service is delightful, their food taste soooo fresh, and hardy yet not heavy on your tummy, it was light and delicious!! And their starter BREAD IS AMAZINGLYsoft with delicious oil, cheese, and garlic spread on the side!! DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE in little Alameda CA on the water, it's a MUST GO TO IF IN THE AREA!! Pricing and Drinks aren't bad either...
As soon as we walked in we were greeted and promptly sat at a table near the fireplace. The bread was served warm with a delightful olive oil and balsamic dipping sauce. We order a salad to share which was generous in size as well as the food portions! Service was delightful, and prompt, however the desserts was not up to par, hence my 4 stars. We had a crème brûlée and as most individuals usually like the sugar layer crystallized with a warm custard. This was ice cold with a sugar layer nowhere near crystallized. The views were lovely and the ambiance was nice. Definitely will return but may skip on the desserts.
Very good restaurant on the water! The calamari was wonderful and not very breaded. The salmon was perfectly cooked and flakey. The waiters were attentive and friendly. Cute view of the bay and will be back again for more visits! It's quiet so it would be a cute place for a date:) the mango daquiri and mojito was delicious!
This place has a back home feeling. The decor is meh, but they have a beautiful spot on the pier with a great view. The food was delicious. Myself as well as my guest order the specials of the day. I had a Alfredo pasta topped with salmon and shrimp. The pasta was perfect and everything was well seasoned. We also loved the warm bread that was served before our entrees.
this will forever be my favorite restaurant. the food is always amazing and the staff are so kind. thank you pasta pelican!!!

This place is lovely and tucked away from all the big city hubbub. It took us a few wrong turns to get there but was well worth it. The pasta was absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly. We were having kind of a rough day and I think our waiter picked up on it because he brought us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. That really brightened our day and we wanted to say thank you!
Come here to take your time and enjoy the delicious food, waterfront atmosphere and incredible marine view. Fresh minced garlic and Parmesan melt into the soft and crusty fresh from the oven bread along with the olive oil. (And that's just to tide you over!) Anchovy affirms the authentic Caesar. Meatballs and marinara, a classic. Nutmeg and cream are the stars of the American Alfredo. Finish with dessert and a tawny port and your meal is a complete event. Cheers!
