So tasty Vietnam food served. I recommend this restaurant.

I am really not sure how to rate this place. We had ordered out via DoorDash twice and the food was excellent. One time they even took the time to call to clarify an order. The eating-in experience, however, was somewhat disappointing. Service was rather slow. The starter ("Taste of Mint" (?)) was excellent with a selection of rolls, mango salad and coconut prawns. I ordered a Vietnamese chicken salad as the main course and it arrived several minutes after the (tasty looking) hot dish that my friend had picked, which created this slightly awkward period where I encouraged my friend to eat while I was picking the remainder of the appetizer. Now, I readily confess, this was my first original Vietnamese chicken salad, so I have no benchmark, but it appeared to consist of 98% of cabbage with some highly diluted shredded chicken and a few sliced peanuts on top. Healthy probably, but not very tasty. Despite this slight disappointment today, we will be back and I will try other choices from the interesting menu.

Great flavors all around. The reason for a star deduction is pork chops were off the shoulder end and not a center cut so there were a lot of little bones and cartilage, also they were extremely thin for a dish that's over 14 dollars a plate. It was seasoned nicely though. Also I never understood why you have to order rice on the side. Who is eating just a pork chop with no rice? Secondly the firecracker chicken was quite a letdown compared to the rest of the meal. Over cooked, mushy and not a good flavor. The Vietnamese restaurant caters more to the average American who probably wouldn't be excited to eat pork blood/tripe/and tendons because it's been ommited for a nontraditional crowd. Despite that though the flavors are there.

Solid Vietnamese place in the west end

Vermicelli bowl with a nice crisp egg roll. Good seasoning and sauces over fresh greens and perfecrly cooked vermicelli.

The fresh rolls here are divine. The vegitaian one are probably my favorite but the ones with crispy fried shrimp (summer rolls) are also heavenly. The staff is always super friendly and do forget the fried bananas for dessert!

A little bit longer waiting than expected, food not served at onceBut overall everything was really delicious.

Spring rolls are really good

Spring rolls are really good

I had the spicy and sour soup with noodles and it was delicious. Not too sour and not too spicy but also sweet. We sat outside with half of our table in the shade and the other half in the sun. It worked.
