I often write about wayfinding from bus stops because I'm totally blind. This one was impossible! I'm liable not to be back for that reason as well as others. There is no direct route to the restaurant from the sidewalk on Webster Street. In addition, if you aren't interested in a common hamburger, this isn't the place for you. I wish I'd known that before I went.My friend liked his burger, though.
I see what Anthony Bourdain was always raving about! They model this after Chik Fil A as far as customer service goes. Or vice versa....Dig the homage to 50's burger joints..... Everything is fresh and delicious. The burger to me is comporable to 5 guys burgers which is what i am used to.... The animal style fries are fantastic! Does not get 5 stars because i have had some DAMN good burgers but lived up well to the hype.
As a tourist that I am, my native tongue is not English, however I manage it... when we arrived at the drive thru we were greeted by Vicente, who is a boy who does not speak Spanish, however, I was attended in Spanish by Vicente... then he arrived Antonio... both with excellent service attitude and as always, the In & Out hamburgers in Alameda CA... congratulations for your great seasoning and excellent service, please never change!Edit: come back to Alameda again and follow the great service from everyone! 05/2022
By far one of the best in and out burgers in the Bay area me and my grandbabies love it the service is always exceptional I always go inside to get my order it's always nice and hot never a problem keep up the great work in and out one of your loyalists customers thank you again
Typical, there is nothing different from the other restaurants of this chain. Just a few adjustments due to the bank having concerns about their customers being able to get in and out of their spots after visiting, so maybe be more mindful when visiting in and out and your experiencing long lines to not block the bank. But overall, the lines seem to go quickly.
Omg! The prices and quality are great! I'd eat here all of the time. But there's not one near my house!
Typical in n out location - so you know what you're getting. Service is relatively fast, and I love that they're open until late at night - basically your only option if you're in this area. Currently offering both dine in and drive through, and some very limited outdoor seating on top of that. Lines for the drive through are always long, dining in is generally faster!
Just had a double-double on my drive out from Reno with some buds. Can’t go wrong with some animal fry and a large pink lemonade, Ofc the line is always gnarly but it’s always worth it ? ?
As far as I can tell, the company has no commitment to animal welfare. A search of animal welfare on their site yields no results. Also, the food is not that good and overly hyped, plenty of better options out there.
So I gave five stars because I really love in n out and have never had a bad meal until today in alameda. My burger was completely cold and my animal fries had fully raw fries in the middle, what happened to the high standards guys? I went in and had them replace my fries but I ate the burger anyway because I was so hungry. I did mistakenly eat a full raw fry though and that was nasty, I’m going to drive farther next time to get actual in n out quality
