Visiting friends in Alameda. Randomly stumbled upon this gem. One of those authentic traditional Chinese sit down restaurants where they have weddings. Great Cantonese cooking with dim sum all day. Very efficient and everything we had was delicious. So shocked to find something authentic in a small little town. Definitely will be back next time I’m in the area.
It's been years since I've been here, and honestly I don't remember it well. All I can tell you is that this was the best banquet style meal I've had in many years, and maybe the best service at a Chinese restaurant, ever. The staff was attentive, fast, and courteous. They anticipated our needs before we asked. You generally only get that at a modern fine dining establishment. Every dish was expertly crafted. Zero complaints, only compliments. Our meal was $$$ but well worth it!
I liked that they have traditional dim sum on carts that are brought around to each table. Food was piping hot, so that’s good. However some dishes were a miss for me.You can see the texture of the tofu dessert, not the texture you’d want or expect. Flavorless too, so it’s a no from me.
My husband and I came in for dim sum and the waitress, who was very attentive, suggested a few other dishes that were simply delicious. An hour later and many take home containers later, we left the restaurant with a smile on our faces and very satisfied. The staff knows their stuff and gently suggests dishes and drinks that complement the meal.
The ambiance, customer focus and professionalism was SUPERB! Not to mention the food was the best I've tasted in a long time. I am so glad that this restaurant was chosen to celebrate my 6th decade of life! Kudos to Ms. Millie Low, server Angela, and all that participated in an OUTSTANDING experience for my family and friends. When I come back 'home' I will make it a point to come and dine again! Peace...
Went early before 10:30am on a Saturday. Restaurant filled up soon after. Good variety of dim sum. Pretty standard fare. Flavors are good and so is service.

My favorite place for dimsum! Always busy and totally worth the wait! This was rne first place my son wanted to eat when arriving to Alameda. Everything was delicious, But the calamari shrimp and tofu tasted great!
