My partner and I enjoy the pizza from East End, but have deicided to BoyCott ordering To Go pizza. We live in West Oakland and by the time pizza gets here its cold. We always have to reheat everything. Seems like Indoor dining could have opened a long time ago. We have done order at the window a few times! The Hipster douchbag behind the cash register always seems so put-out by any questions about the food, pizza and indoor dining. Plus its very expensive for such a small pizza!

Great pizza! Also great French fries ?Update: they mess up orders too often. No longer worth it

Pizza and salad done right, healthy and delicious! I enjoyed the healthier pizza toppings and thin crust. Will try again earlier so we can pick from all of the menu items!

East End has some of the best pizza around... any town. We're thrilled to live within delivery range, so this is a not hugely infrequent Friday night order. If you are taking your pizza to go, order uncut as you can reheat at home and get that beautiful crispy crust. These pizzas aren't heavily loaded with toppings, but more of a minimalist approach focusing on excellent ingredients. We are huge fans of the Diablita with Pepperoni, usually order whatever mushroom pizza is on specialty and a cocktail (comes in a jar - 2 servings). Always happy to support this neighborhood gem!

So underwhelming given the rave reviews and high prices. We ordered the "farmer's daughter" pizza: it feels like so much effort was put into waffling the zucchini and squash, but it just didn't pay off. The squash was too watery, and without a tomato base nothing on the pizza added the necessary acidic balance to the fattiness of the cheese and meat. The "house made" Italian sausage was missing the texture and flavor of good Italian sausage and was just such a pitiful quantity for four extra dollars. The best part of the pizza was the crust, but it just wasn't enough to save it, especially given the price. The salad was worse. Again the portion was disappointing for the price, and I could hardly taste a hint of anchovy in the Caesar dressing, which is the central ingredient to a good Caesar dressing.Overall I see a lot of effort being put into making this food fancy, but when any mom and pop joint out east could outdo this for less than a quarter of the price, I just can't get behind the food here.

I love love love eating here. Of course I love the East Coast style pizza but more than that the entrées. The chicken is off the hook. The barbecue wings are finger licking good. I love when they do the watermelon mint salad. The fries put all other fries to shame. The meatballs!!!!! Omg so good. The cocktails are super creative and yummy. And they have my favorite dessert of all time which is creative play on s'mores also following the East Coast trend with the marshmallow f

This place is damn good! East End has ended our long hunt for great pizza. I love the thin tasty crust and fresh ingredients.

Not much meat in the short rib risotto, forgot topping on a pizza

My family are avid pizza lovers. We have a couple of places we love in Alameda for different reasons. The wood fired pizzas at East End are really delicious and special. Really love the vegetarian "impossible" sausage topping! Every time I come here to pick up the staff and service is great. My three year old son loves to come with me to pick up because the man at the front always talks to him and this time even gave him a treat for after dinner. We will be back at least once a month! Our favorite pizzas so far have been the Diablo with impossible sausage and the Walking Spanish. YUMMMMMM!! My husband is obsessed with the lemon anchovy dressing that comes with the Romain salad. My son always eats the kids pasta with Alfredo sauce.

My time tested stand by on the island. They can do no wrong. Try the Diablita!
