This place is great for a date night or to just hangout with friends. Service is solid. The wines are good (IMO) and the views are amazing! The outdoor setup and scenery are the main draws of this place for me, but that bay area weather can sometimes make it less enjoyable, especially once the sun starts to set and the wind-chill kicks up. The only reason I'm holding it at four stars is because they don't have a consistent food menu to pair with the wines. They have pop-up food trucks that can vary. Good wine in a secluded spot with a nice view.
Excellent! Scott took such great care of me and ensured I had a memorable experience! The wines were superb and the location is unique, too, right next to the Naval Yard where the USS Hornet is located. Their style of Zins is brighter and crisper than their Lodi counterparts so if you’re a steak/stew person and want to venture outside of Bordeaux blends/varietals, give Dashe a try!
Pretty disappointing. We went there on what happened to be mother's day, but it was a cold windy day so it was pretty empty. Asked to do a tasting, they seated us. Asked about tastings, they gave us the menu. On noticing no tastings on the menu asked again, and got told they don't do them on holidays because it gets "too crazy". Note, the entire outside was completely empty, far from crazy.Annoyingly, since we were seated, it felt awkward to leave. So we order a glass each and then notice all the people around us are actually doing tastings. Possibly members, but honestly, it was so empty, they could have just offered the tasting anyway, or at least, told us upfront they weren't doing tastings so we could make the decision at the door and simply find another place. Like next door... which had a wonderful wine tasting.Other wineries we went to told us upfront if they weren't doing tastings and even pointed us to other spots to try.
Really like its crispy and fruity wine. Watching the sunset around the abandoned airport whilst drinking alcohol is reminiscent of the old days.

While I miss the old location in JLo Square, Dashe remains a true gem of the Bay. Great people, amazing wine, and beautiful views of SF.
