I had two fish tacos. They came with rice and beans. The fish was deep-fried and delicious as were the tacos. I opted for whole pinto beans rather than the refried black beans. They were very good but came in a jigger-sized cup. I wanted more. Service was very friendly. We are indoors, but they were serving outdoors in parking spaces in front of the store. It was a cold night and they had their big outdoor heaters lit.
Food was reasonably good. Server was incredibly inexperienced or new. She did not offer me water and wasn't familiar with the drink options. Was most upset when they offered me chips and salsa with guacamole when I sat down and then found out the guacamole cost $10.50 when I went to pay the bill! If you're going to charge for it, it should be clear that it's an extra fee especially when it's that pricey.
OMG Stop it. Been in the bay 6 or 7 years and haven't had Mexican food this good. I've gotten close but no cigar. The bean dip for the plantains was sending me over the edge. I was in heaven. It was very Cuban-esque. Transported to Miami. The guac was delicious and on day 2 with left overs the chips are still crunchy as hell and guac is solid good. On TOP of all the deliciousness, the service was super great. They were very friendly and came to check on us twice. Food came out super quick. Good prices and the horchata oh man..... sprinkled with freaking delight. I'm dead. I could go back just for the horchata alone. Ordered a taco salad and the shell was impressive and the flavor was perfect and really brought back good memories though there wasn't a lot of meat inside. I ordered carne asada. Small little bits there.Parking was free after 6 I think. Plenty of parking on side streets and some bars that are walking distance if you wanna go for a drink and music after. Such a good location.
The margaritas were to die for and that burrito must've been at least a foot long. The meat was delicious but I had to cut it in half because it was too much food for one sitting.
Came with my coworkers. We ordered a plate called El Governador which consist steak and shrimp in a large tortillas. They give lots of meat we all agreed it was tasty. Our server Maggie was the best. Really gave ? service. We will be back again and try something else.
Came in on a Saturday with my sister, we sat outside we waited for over 20 minutes and no one took our order. I had to get the servers attention who ignored us as he took others orders. We were never provided with utensils or napkins. The server apologized to all the other patrons and never apologized to us for waiting. My sister and I were polite and to the point of what we wanted. The sever Samuel again went around to the other tables and apologized and never to us. Samuel brought us our food and I asked for utensils, he said he would be right out. He brought out food to the other patrons and we did never received utensils. We had to use chips as utensils. I had to flag Samuel down to get napkins since I did not want to use my clothes as napkins. The rice was dry and hard very bland no flavor, same to the tacos and beans. We also received our drinks after our meals. I understand restaurants are short staffed and can get busy sometimes but today was no excuse for bad service and bland food. Wish I can give this place zero stars.
Juicy and delicious, price conscious and Maggie is great.Expect just great food, Huevos Rancheros are really different.The environment is “despretensioso” and people are friendly.Good selection of drinks.Be aware :) of the spice level of that tiny little orange thing.

Decent place, vegan pastor taco was pretty good. Black refried beans are vegan/vegetarian also.Salsas are good. Indoor and outdoor seating too. Price around $5 per taco.
We ordered food worth $93 and I am a regular here. They literally gave us the three salsa in the pic below. They charged me extra two get some more salsa on the side!!!This is just foolish
