Went in around 3pm or so. The staff was friendly and large portions of food were served quickly. I ordered poorly ($25 pork belly that tasted like charcoal). What really grinds my gears is the 18% service charge hidden in the bill + the suggestion to tip 18-22%. They have the balls to ask for up to 40% tip, and most people don't looked at the bill and surely throw in another 20% or so without realizing they'vealready charged 18%. That alone is enough to keep me from going back.

Nothing beats Korean soft tofu stew on a cold winter day. The place is convenient. It is popular among the young adults. The tofu soup itself can use more flavor, perhaps more soybean paste. It feels a bit watery. The beef itself is a little tough. Normally it should be in smaller bite size pieces that go easily with the tofu and soup. It is a nice quick fix.

I love this place, but this past Friday I was asked to show vaccination status IN ORDER TO SIT OUTSIDE.Bowl'd: you guys lost my business permanently unless this was a mistake from a newly hired host.

5 of ate lunch here and had a good experience. Due to surging COVID we ate outside, and the heaters were adequate to keep us comfortable despite it being a quite cool day. There are several distinct sections to the menu- "sizzling" rice bowls, soups, and grilled meats. One of our party had a huge bowl of the Korean version of Pho, and 3 had grilled BBQ, and I ordered what was described on the menu as pork and kimchee stir fry with udon noodles. Everyone who had the BBQ thought it was very good, and the tastes I had were indeed very tasty, if not extraordinary. The person who ordered the Pho also said it was very good. Unfortunatley, not being very familiar with Korean cuisine I did not fully understand the menu, and did not realize that my "stir fry" meant that the ingredients were stir fried, and then made into soup. I really didn't want soup, so I was disappointed at the time, but when I had the leftovers the next day I decided it actually tasted good. All meals come with either steamed or purple rice (very interesting) and an assortment of traditional Korean small plates. Staff were friendly and attentive, prices reasonable, with everything on the menu under $20.

Similar to the one in Oakland, Alameda Bowl'd has plenty of space and easy parking. Foods were the same.

Order the fried chicken ( half spicy and half regular) togo. Chicken was too dry and like eating cardboard. It used to my favorite place for fried chicken but not anymore. Also the salad that comes with the fried chicken is not fresh at all. The veggies smells like it has been sitting for awhile (over a week). Bad overall quality.

Good spot for Korean food. BBQ quality is a bit inconsistent (depends on how busy the kitchen is).Banchan dishes are a bit uninspired.Service is efficient and friendly.❤️Soft tofu soup

Poor service, food was burnt, not recommended and definitely won't be going to back. The person taking our order didn't have good attitude seemed like he doesn't want to serve us....And bought us the wrong rice....We asked for WHITE rice , we got purple rice....I'm not sure how you can confuse the two words?Food was burnt, our chocked was almost blackened the kimchi pancakes was also blackened?!!!How do you make food like that?

Thank you guys so much for the amazing Bibimbap and for the excellent 5-Star service you showed to me and my wife today. Thank you especially for making sure my wife was well taken care of. Great ambience, good music, wonderful interior decor! Can’t wait to come back!

I love this place. Great food and service is great. Friendly service and nice place to grab some soothing food and relax.
