What. A. Disaster. I was in town from NY this past weekend to watch my Mets beat on the Angels. Went to the Alameda Comedy club on Saturday night to break up my weekend. Talent was ok (Jason ?) but the service, drinks and food were a major disappointment. My house cocktail “margarita” was sans tequila and all lime juice and salt. My fried chicken sliders were pink inside. Management refused to acknowledge this and did not relieve us on the bill. Hey fellow NYers! You want good comedy drinks and food? Stick to the Sunset strip in LA.

Drag Yourself to Brunch is Alameda's best kept secret that needs to be shared with the rest of the world! Along with a beautiful and delicious brunch that includes either a mimosa or a bloody mary, you are treated to an entertaining, funny, sexy, drag show. We were graced with performances by Rosie Petals, Nia Politan, Sexen City, and Alpha Andromeda. These queens made me laugh and smile so much I developed extra wrinkles around my eyes! I recommend finishing your food before the performance as I heard a couple tables knock their food trays to the floor from over-excitement. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the drink menu offers several unique options. This is a fantastic way to celebrate a special occasion, but also just to treat yourself to amazing food and entertainment on any given Sunday.

I never been in a comedy club before and as an immigrant I had hard time understanding American humor. Last night I went to Alameda Comedy club and I had so much fun. The place and staff were super nice and welcoming. The food was amazing ! The comedians were super fun and made me laugh like never before.I will come back for sure.

Love it! The facilities was small and tight just like the good old skool comedy joints! The entertainment was fabulous and very engaging. We celebrated my sister in laws birthday so had the Mom, nieces, friends, all had a blast! A must see! Go to the brunch on Sundays.....food and cocktails on point!

Food was good, the show was fun, but the seat lost all cushion so my butt was uncomfortable for most of the 2 hours.

Enjoyed a night outside laughing hysterically at some of the funniest comics in the bay area! Alameda Comedy Club surpassed our expectations and we cannot wait to return. And to top of the headache inducing laughter, the food is delicious. We ordered the brussels sprouts, mac & cheese with truffle oil balls, brisket sliders and tempura mushrooms. I'd recommend their entire menu as our mouth watered as other diners dishes passed by!

I've been a few times and have always had a great time. Good space, great for comedy. I like that they have food as well as drinks. Each time I've come has been pretty memorable. There are a few things they could improve. The food I've tried so far is just okay. I usually order some sliders, I've tried various kinds they've had on their menu and each was fairly lackluster for the price. My partner has had similar experiences with the items she has ordered. The fries are pretty good though. Each time I've gone there's been a bit of an uncomfortable vibe throughout the night. I'm not totally certain what the source of it is, maybe it's a combination of things, but I have some ideas. Usually a comedy club doesn't serve food, and I think it might be because people can't laugh when they have their mouths full. I like that there is food but it may be a drawback to the overall vibe.Due to the uncomfortable vibe some comics don't always know where to go with their act.

Great spot for some comedy. Great Food. Very Friendly staff! Terrific relationship between management and local performers. Very supportive atmosphere. Patrick is a cool dude.

I love this place. Order the brisket sliders, the Mac n cheese bites, and a Big Paddle Pilsner. You will not be disappointed.

Dropped in with my son for open comedy mic night. It was an interesting experience and very enjoyable ?.Beverage and appetizer service was very accommodating during the show.Cheers
