You won’t believe what I saw ?☠️I would rate Popeyes 5 stars, I really would. The food is great, the employees are friendly, everything is good and normal, almost. I was walking into the line when I felt a crunch under my foot, I looked down and saw A COCKROACH!!! What on earth is a cockroach doing in a restaurant?! I just tried to ignore it, (being one of those who isn’t afraid of roaches) but it was hard when further down the line there was another roach. The employees did seem really apologetic and gave me a free drink, but I still won’t forget the roaches any time soon. ?(That food was worth stepping on a cockroach though ????)
This is taped to the speaker.They took awhile to even acknowledge my presence then took awhile once more to acknowledge me after I told them my name for the online order at the drive thru. I Pull up to the window and they are all in there laughing cutting up having a good old time. They finally came to the window and told me to pull up because they are cooking my tenders that I ordered online more than 20 minutes ago. I set in the parking lot for another 30 minutes before anyone even came to talk to me. Popeyes is a joke. Won’t waste my time ever again with Popeyes chicken especially when there are three other chicken restaurants in the vicinity.
I've never had such appalling service. The restaurant closed at 11. We pulled in and tried to place our order at 10:25. Upon trying to place our order we were immediately informed it would take 10-15 minutes for our food. I said that's fine we will wait.The employee seemed disappointed that I was willing to wait. Next they told me that before they could even take my order that had to fill two other customer orders even though saw no one in front or behimd me. After my family of 5 was left waiting 15 minutes, i said "sir?" to the speaker (wondering I'd I had been forgotten about) and the man began shouting and wouldn't let me finish asking my question. He shouted "I ALREADY TOLD YOU TO WAIT!" several times over me; not letting me speak.He didn't even know what I was going to say.It's not right to leave someone waiting on you then be treated with such disrespect. It doesn't cost anything to be nice to someone. We decided to drive off and leave after 20 minutes and when we pulled around we could see there was only one other vehicle at the window. We had just sat at the speaker the whole time and no other vehicles around but the car at the window.I'm also attaching a photo of the sign that was taped to their speaker which seems as if they are attempting to drive customers away. I always thought the goal was to work for the customer and not the other way around. They laminated this important statement which is obviously not corporate approved and didn't even take the time to spell check it. It's sad. We will not be returning to this location and really hope management will take this review into consideration coming from a customer willing to pay money even after waiting so long.
HORRIBLE customer service. They told us to pull forward and we waited 20 minutes before we went inside to see where our order is at. All of the workers were sitting on their phone while our order was ready, they were just not bringing out the order, then they had a terrible attitude because we actually went in to ask how much longer it's going to be. Not only this, but they failed to include any utensils, napkins, or anything else besides the food. I do not recommend this location.
Worst Popeyes experience ever. We order a 12 piece spicy tender family meal. It took 20 minutes for them to get the order together and we only got it after I went inside for it. They did not give us spicy tenders even though I asked before they gave it to me. They also forgot to include any utensils to eat our mashed potatoes. The attitude of the customer service representatives was far from professional or friendly.
Absolute RUDEST employees!!!!! (Springdale, sunset location) Was told “we are cooking to order so it will be 7-10 minutes”. Not a “huge” deal to me even though i didn’t want to wait. BUT what WAS a big deal was when we waited 15 minutes after having pulled forward and was pumping all the other people behind us through the drive through. I finally got out of the car and walked toward the window when some snotty teenaged punk proceeds to beat on the windows and he comes running out the door and comes busting through and basically throws my bag at me all while saying “here’s your order, bi***! I told you 5 minutes!” I corrected him and said “no, you said 7-10 and it’s been more than 15, but that’s not my point. You’re serving everyone else while MINE sat”. He flips me off n goes inside. The absolute WORST employees I’ve EVER encountered!!!!
We placed a mobile order for just 2 things while getting gas by the Popeyes. Got over there in about 5 minutes, the dining room was closed, so we got in line for the drive thru, got to the speaker box, told them the mobile order name and everything and were asked to drive around. After getting to the window, we reiterated the mobile order name and were asked to pull forward even though at this point it had been 15 minutes since the order was placed. We pulled forward a bit and proceeded to sit for another 20 minutes without anyone coming out at all. I finally walked back up to the window just to have the attendant say they don't have half the things for our order! Why he never came out to say this in those 20 minutes we sat there, who knows, but then he gave attitude about how I should cancel and replace the order instead of just substituting something right there and then, so we left. Don't go here, don't support this business till they understand how to handle their orders appropriately and never trust someone who gets mad because they get asked about following up on an order.
Whoever owns this location should be ashamed of themselves. There is usually only 2 employees working trying to keep it going. They should just close this location until it can be properly staffed. I have been on numerous occasions and every time they come on the speaker and state they only have certain items and it is a 20 minute wait and will be back with me. My favorite was when I pulled up during regular working hours and the lady came on the speaker and just said we still prepping! It was 3:00 in the afternoon. I can drive all the way to Rogers Popeyes get my food and back home before I even place my order at this location.
I placed this order at 8pm on March 1, 2022 using the Popeye's app. I went immediately to pick up the food and arrived around 8:10. I went up to the window, and the attendant said they closed at 8pm, despite a posted closing time of 9pm on the app and at the store. They told me to come back a different night and that Ashley would make it up to our family. We returned at 7:35pm on Tuesday, March 8, and went back to the drive thru window. I explained we were told to come back, and they asked me who told me to do that. At that point I felt extremely awkward, but I said the name Ashley. To my surprise, another voice came on the speaker and a car whizzed up behind me. It was a small black car and the window was down and the person was wearing a headpiece and yelled out the window saying "HI, I'm Ashley in the car behind you, and we're out of sides." She then asked me to come back AGAIN the next night and they would give extra free meals. After driving all the way there twice in a week for no food for my family, I am very upset and wish for a full refund. I have never had anything like this ever happen with a restaurant.
Horrible, the food, the service, everything. We used to love Popeyes. The entire experience has me going elsewhere. Needs new management or something.
