Amazing pizza, amazing salad, and amazing Gelato, what more could you ask from a pizza place? The wait time wasn't as long as I expected and the food didn't take long either. Definitely try this place if you're in the area, you won't regret it! They also have Gelatos of many flavors, I assume they change flavors daily but the one I had was Blueberry lemon and man was it good! Truely an amazing pizza restaurant
Great experience at Pizzaria Ruby. This little authentic pizzaria is amazing. Service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Green Monstah. It is pistachio pesto and white sauce with spinach, tomatoes garlic and cheese. Thin foldable crust that was hot and fresh. Loads of options outside pizza including traditional Italian fare, mussels, octopus and more. Lots on tap and numerous vino options plus a nice selection of grain alcohol as well. This is a local gem! Don’t forget the gelato daily flavor. Today it was chocolate hazelnut which came with a light sprinkling of course sea salt. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
We loved Pizzeria Ruby. The restaurant is small so not a lot of seating but food was great. We ordered Mama's meatball as an app and for the pizza we got the North End. The meatballs were great, they had a good garlic flavor and was also topped with some red sauce. The North End had both red and white sauce with sausage, very delicious. We also like the crust. We will be back.
Had a premium Bitburger Pils and a pizza with sheep’s milk cheese. What else could you want?Great vibes. Real Italian style pizza. Small, but mighty liquor list. Cool music. Only 9 indoor tables so there may be a wait, but it’s worth it.
Corner pizzeria prices, fine dining taste. All fresh, perfectly spiced. Speciality slice, Caesar salad, mineral water -- lunch special $10. A little noisy but in a fun busy way.
My son just brought us a pizza for dinner. It was amazing. I appreciated the taste , texture, and quality of ingredients! He and his wife have eaten at you restaurant several times. He says that you and your staff are a well oiled machine and you all work together so well! Tonight they had pasta entries. I can’t wait to go to your restaurant myself after tasting your pizza!!!!!
Giant slices, perfect crust. They ran out of pepperoni, but the italian sausage was great. We will be back & hopefully get to try the pepperoni next time.Edit to add: We took an order of meatballs to go for one of our kiddos that didn't come with us. They were great warmed up the next day, so I can only imagine how good they would have been fresh.
Pizza was outstanding. Will be back often. They are working through high demand and working out some kinks, but it was worth the wait.As of 2022, things are running much more smoothly at Pizzeria Ruby and the pizza is still incredible. I bet it’s not long before there’s more than one location because it’s that good!
Pizzeria Ruby is fantastic! Absolutely worth the drive to Johnson. We have enjoyed The Works and the Truffle Pig pizzas so far and will keep coming back to eventually try them all. Pair with a delicious Caesar salad - seriously it’s so good - and a Peroni in a perfectly frosted mug. This place is popular (rightly so!) so the wait times are usually long, but the food and the experience are worth the wait. The staff are excellent and it’s so fun to watch them work in the open kitchen!I also love watching their social media for pictures of their food and occasional pasta specials. They seem to bring in unique ingredients and try new recipes frequently. I love that they keep it interesting and can’t wait to join them for pasta night sometime soon!
My husband and I had our first slice from here less than a month ago, and have already been back enough to try every specialty pizza on the menu. Everything was a 10/10, and definitely recommend getting their awesome giardiniera with it!As a former worker in food service, I can appreciate when an owner cares for his staff to send them home when getting home might be unsafe. Will always support a business that puts their people first.Also met the owner last time we were in, and his wife. Nice people and this will continue to be a regular spot for me and mine. There is no pizza in the area that comes close to Pizzeria Ruby. Eat local!
