I called to report that your deli meat gave me food poisoning on consecutive weeks. Two separate weeks!! A Manager who answered the main phone line said the Deli Manager would rerun my call the very next morning. She seemed concerned and promised a call back from the Deli Manager. That was 5 days ago. I have yet to receive a call back. I shop at Harps because the people are nice, the meat department has a nice selection and I enjoy the Boars Head deli meat. No more. Food poisoning is not something I want to encounter….and I REALLY don’t want it in back to back weeks.The food poisoning and the lack of keeping a promise of a call back has forced me to shop at WalMart. Joy oh joy.13 years of loyalty is down the drain.

I live in Roland Oklahoma and I have purchased meat 3 different times only to have to return because of being spoiled....at 3 00 a gallon for gas it's ridiculous to go to the grocery store only to have to make extra trips to return spoiled meat ...you would think purchasing 24 $ package of meat it would be good...harps should pay for the gas you spend taking the bad food back ...I will be shopping Fort Smith AR for grocery now.

If we had a choice of NO STARS, we would give that!! Harps is the only store in our town.... My husband and I just moved to Bull Shoals. a little over a year ago, and we have always believed in supporting local businesses....but no longer this store!!! Besides the poor quality of anything fresh, including bread, most of the older employees, age wise, are the rudest people we have ever encountered; including the manager. I read something about Harps being "employee owned"; maybe they think that since it's 10 miles to the closest store, they don't have to worry about quality or courtesy but you can bet my husband and I will drive the 10 miles. Something should be done!!!!

Harps bakery has always been our go to bakery. Today, very sad experience. I was ordering cake cookies and cupcakes. The person could not have been more impatient and abrasive. I asked twice if this was a good time to discuss this very important occasion. She was short with me and basically told me what they could not do. Very sad. Will take our business elsewhere.

Impossible to talk to anyone. Call anytime / Any day & no matter who you want you will get their voicemail. Frustrating.

I used to work for harps food stores in the deli and bakery, so I find it funny that every deli and bakery seems to close right before you call in anytime past 6:00 with an order, they've already shut the fryers down and they want to have their area clean so that they can get home on time and I understand that, but if you work at a place that's open till 8:00 you're open until 8:00 if you don't like it in a different job

Always good service. But taking away the points off for fuel is b.s. i buy alot and imean alot from harps for the fuel points. I buy all my fuel from harps for all my lawn equipment and 4 vehicles. But loosing that option is gonna make me start doing business with Kroger's. Its further away and kinda inconvenient but got to save something some where.

On Friday November 20th our son whom is serving in the Navy was advised that due to Covid surges he would not be able to come home for Thanksgiving.Knowing that he would not be doing anything for Thanksgiving and this was his first Holiday away from home, I wanted to somehow get him a meal to bring up his spirits as he said he doesn’t know what he would be eating that day. I began looking for grocery stores in or near the town he just bought a home in. I found your store in Harrah Oklahoma and called them to see if they sold prepared Thanksgiving meals. I was pleased to find out they did and was being helped during this phone call by one of the deli employees.She was extremely helpful in giving me information on the details of the meal and pricing. The next hurdle I had was to try to get it delivered before Thanksgiving. To which I learned that instacart wouldn’t deliver it. I also learned that the store wouldn’t take a credit card over the phone.It was at that time that this employee said that she would pay for the meal for me and also would bring it to my son after her work shift ended on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving so that our son would have his meal in time for Thanksgiving!She said that I could pay her back for the meal. Myself and my wife were taken back by such a nice gesture from someone so many miles away from us that we’ve never met. This brought my wife to tears. This employee said that for our Military service members she would be honored to do this!Come Wednesday the 25th she called me and sent a picture of the receipt to me, to which I paid her back. She then brought this meal to my sons front door and allowed me and my wife time to be on the phone at that very moment when she gave him the meal to make this surprise happen! She also went even further and videoed it for us and sent it to us via text.Myself and my wife can’t thank you, this employee and your store in Harrah Oklahoma enough for what you did, as during this horrible Pandemic, a complete stranger at a store so very far away, would do such a kind thing for our son that couldn’t make it home for the Holiday because of the Pandemic and serving in the Navy so far from home.She truly made our sons day and Holiday so much brighter and we can’t begin to Thank you and your company enough for such a kind thing and such a great employee!Thank you for having such great compassionate employees whom know the true spirit of Thanksgiving and go above and beyond to make this happen for our son!
