Great pizza and great staff. Waitress was fantastic as were all the staff. I would definitely recommend this place!!! I was competing at a powerlifting meet the next day and set 3 national records. WAS IT THE PIZZA THE NIGHT BEFORE THE MEET?

When I went the first time I thought everything was fantastic. This was our second visit and everything wasn't exactly as I remember. We ordered two deep dish pizzas and instead of them feeling like deep dish it felt like a regular crust pizza with the crust high on the sides. My crust had the texture of a cracker and was super crispy. I'm sure I'll give them another try at some point, but this was definitely not Chicago style deep dish. I posted pictures the first time I went and compared with the pictures this time, not even the same pizza.
EDIT: While my first visit to this location was excellent, the following two visits were horrendous.They served me, on two separate and consecutive visits, a Chicago pizza where all the sauce and cheese had leaked out into the oven before boxing. The regular (non-Chicago) style pizza is OK but nothing special. The hot dogs were very good. For me, Gusano's doesn't meet the quality expectations that their pricing implies.Edit 2: Went back to Gusano’s again, ordered two pizzas - one Chicago, one regular. Spoke to manager when ordering and asked her to make sure it was made to spec. Arrived to pickup, pizza was made to spec. Manager attempted to tell me that I had already been reimbursed for my previous pizza (defective, cheese and sauce mostly gone) when I had not.
This is my local go to. Amanda is definitely the best server in town! Frosted mugs make the beer ice cold. Usually not to crowded. I visit here 2 to 3 times a week normally.
Wow!!! Yuengling on tap atmosphere is very relaxed. Food was well worth the 2 hour motorcycle ride here. Johanna rocks! She was spot on with our four orders never wrote anything down and chatting with us the whole time. Attentive but not overly so ?
2 - 3 slices of pepperoni per slice of pizza ?? On a pepperoni pizza , disappointed.. they definitely didn't skimp out on red sauce
Beware!! You’ll be taking you chances with this place.Walked in for dine in service at 8pm on Friday night. No one there at front to sit you. Guy picking up his order has to go find waitress in back to help him, he walks out shaking his head. Not sure how long he stood there but by the look in his face must have been awhile. She then sat us. Ordered 3 pizza, 2 sandwiches, 1 salad, and cheese bread. Got cheese bread pretty quickly. 1 sandwich- No chicken for the sandwich had to choose something else, 2nd sandwich comes out 40 mins after ordering, 15 mins later 2nd sandwich. Still no pizza 9:15 one pizza comes out. Was suppose to be taco pizza. But it’s missing it’s toppings. Nice!! 30 mins later 2 pizzas come out but not even what we ordered. Wrong pizza!! 133.00 and 2 hours later walking out very disappointed and ripped off. Sent message to them no response. Not even a sorry we messed up. Will not be back to any Gusanos.
Took forever to get a single small pizza and order was wrong. Not worth the wait And the restaurant was not busy at all
Took a long time for food to come, but it was hot, fresh and tasty. Bathroom was very clean. Restaurant interior was stylish. Staff was friendly and efficient. Gave only 4 stars because my husbands second IPA was not an IPA. The waitress said they changed the keg and it was labeled as IPA, but it definitely was not. He didn’t even drink it and we were not offered a refund for that beverage.
