Absolutely best ribs I have ever had..and the fried pie wonderful! Highly recommend!
Best ribs I have ever had. The hush puppies are also excellent and cheap enough to get more of them. The sauces are good as well; I love the Kansas Style sauce. The best sauce I've ever had was in Chicago, and the sauce here might be a bit better. Coupled with a tiny bit of the nose-burning sauce, my meal is always perfect. The mac and cheese is good, too; I have had a tough time finding good mac and cheese, but the one here satisfies that craving. 10/10 would recommend.
Food was really good and tender. The fried green tomatoes had a really good breading on them and were thick. Only thing I wish I has more brisket (only 2 slices) the staff was super friendly and fast even though it was kinda busy. Over it was a good spot to hit up.
I am very picky about my BBQ,, but this little hidden gem was wonderful.. we had great food served by friendly smiling people. We will definitely be back here!
We go to this place more than any other restaurant in town. The catfish is very good. The BBQ is very good also. They catered lunch where I work, pulled pork. It was a very good sandwich with all the fixings for around 700 on three different shifts. They did a good job.
Hubs and I had lunch here today…our first time here, but certainly don’t plan on it being our last…fried catfish cooked to perfection, delicious hush puppies, fries, Cole slaw, and of course, sweet tea to drink…our server, Lennen, was very efficient and a pleasure to deal with…thanks and “we’ll be back”
I ordered a full rack of ribs, baked beans and fried okra! I destroyed that meal in 15 minutes. Pull the ribs out tender, juicy and they were great just plain. Then the okra was cooked perfectly and the baked beans rocked. I hate hush puppies and I tried a small bite of one. Yeah, I ate them too. They had a crisp outside with a moist interior and just a hint of sweetness. Clean place, nice ambience and a courteous, respectful and attentive staff. Overall I didn't want to give it 5 stars, but I had to because there's nothing higher than 5. Summing it up in one word, badasseryness!
Absolutely delicious! We were in the area for a work trip and wanted something locally owned for lunch. This was the best decision. Pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, and coconut pie. I wish I lived closer so I could visit often. Thank you for having some of the best BBQ I've ever had.
If you want Bbq in Searcy, This Guy's is where you need to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. Get anything from the smoker. You can go wrong. They also serve some f the best burgers around.
I was not expecting what we got. The fried pickles was a basket full. Then the pull pork sandwich came out and for 8 bucks, it's a jumbo bun packed with pork and fries. The the fried apple pie was bigger than expected. The waitress asked if i wanted ice cream with it. The ice cream looked homemade and the apple pie seem like it was made that day. We will go back soon. Worth every cent.
