Absolutely our number one place to eat in Searcy! Everything on the menu is amazing but the catfish and shrimp are our favorites. Finest quality and nice size portions. I haven't had such good catfish and shrimp since I visited the gulf coast. The service is great. Very attentive servers who actually make you feel like you're welcome and they're happy to see you. And meals are always consistent. We've never had a bad meal. And did I mention the fried pies? They are the real deal! Just like Grandma used to make. Be sure to order one (peach is my favorite). My advice- if you haven't eaten there then you're missing out!
this was the first time there. and it won't be the last, great food and fantastic service.
This is a pretty solid southern seafood place. Catfish, shrimp and they had fried oysters which I personally love. Yeah, I know... they're not for everyone. Service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely give it another go next time I'm in Searcy. I believe they have a location in Beebe as well. Give it a try!
The food was EXCELLENT!! I had a delicious fish, chicken & fried shrimp plate. Portion size was generous! For dessert I chose the Pecan fried pie. It was light, flaky, sweet & an absolute treat! The clean, spacious bathroom was appreciated. We had the nicest, most helpful, attentive server, Jesse. She was great! I can't wait to return - fingers crossed that next time I can try the Mac n Cheese!
Got takeout here for the first time. The catfish was good and fresh. The burger had a nice char-grilled flavor. The portions were generous. The folk working here were really nice. And the guy making the food had really nice, long, wavy black hair. Good for him...but he should be wearing a hat so that the food does not end up with really nice, long, wavy black hair.On the downside...this place is pretty much a worn out dump. About six failed restaurants have occupied the location. I think they still have the same checkered floor that was installed thirty years ago. That doesn't take away from the good food. But don't come here looking for ambiance. Also, they were airing a church sermon over the speakers during the Sunday lunch hour. I"d just been to church, and wasn't keen on listening to someone else's preferred service. Were they expecting diners to do Holy Communion with the hush puppies and tartar sauce?
Ok their shrimp and catfish is all they have going for them. The service was good, however the environment was odd, looked liked my late grandmas(rest her soul, I miss you Nana) house. The Mrs ordered the 3, 3, 3 combo that came with crab cakes, which was literally pulled out of a box and throw in the fryer so it was super bland and did I mention that dish costs 20 DOLLARS!! Sorry I just felt like I was eating hot box food from the gas station.
Great food and great friendly staff. Very fare prices too. Large dish servings as well. Over all very clean establishment. Will visit again in the near future.
The food was excellent!! Fresh, hot and tasted wonderful! Portions were huge! The staff was extremely friendly and approachable although short and busy! I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely return! Brooke did an excellent job! A+++++
The steak was great I loved the seafood they had a great staff and great the waitress was great I recommend this restaurant.
Gives large portions of food! Even the Appetizer sampler seemed to be two full servings instead of two half! Very much worth the money.Food was fresh and hot. Straight from fryer to plate and still sizzling. Waitress was on point, super friendly (not even the forced customer service friendly either), and was always right on time when we needed her.In house made tartar sauce was delicious. Fish was good and southern flavored, chicken was a bit dry but had great crust. Highly recommend if you are on the fence about going.
