I normally eat fish at another place in town, but tonight it was late and we didn’t want to cook and wanted something close. The lady who owns this place works in cat rescue with my wife, so she has always suggested we try here and we finally did. It did not disappoint.I had the fish dinner with fries and slaw, and my wife loves there chicken dinner with a side of slaw. The food was good, and so was the service…even though we got there 20 minutes before closing.It’s a great place to stop if your on the west side of Russellville and you want something good to eat.
Cool food truck just west of downtown on our way across Arkansas. Shared a catfish platter on the picnic table on a warm sunny day (before the summer heat). The catfish was super flavorful with just enough breading without diminishing flavor. Came with fries, slaw, and A+ hushpuppies - cooked just right and excellent flavor. Friendly staff. Can’t miss.
Food is wonderful. Reasonable prices and huge portions.

I can't share a photo because I ate it all!! I just moved from LR to Russellville and I have been seeing Mackey's food truck on the corner of Waco and Main Street. I tried them today and WOW!!! The catfish was absolutely wonderful!! Seasoned exactly right!! The coke slaw was THE BEST I have ever had!! Sincerely!! The hush puppies, and French fries were also outstanding-both seasoned perfectly. All was fresh and hot!! I couldn't recommend anywhere as much as I recommend Mackey's for catfish and fixings'. I couldn't resist their banana pudding and it did not disappoint either!!! It was just like homemade!!If you enjoy catfish, just good cookin', you need to try Mackey's!!! It's DELICIOUS!! I drove back to the food truck after I finished eating, just to tell them in person how good everything was. THAT's how outstanding the food was!!!

The fish and chicken family meal was Way more than enough food to feed my family of 6! I remember when my dad was alive he loved to go get a plate from the food truck. I never understood why until I had it today!
