The timing waiting for food is too long, I went 2 times and I waiting 45 min -1 hour and the food were cold and taste not good.
Good service and clean womens restroom. Traveling through area, I prefer to support small family restaurants instead of chains. I should have read reviews before trying this one. Food was not warm (cheese enchilada was not melted), and taco shell was not edible (stale, chewy not crunchy) taco chips also had a taste of overused fry oil. Won't be returning due to sub par food, even though service was enjoyable.
The taco salad was soggy, it sat in a puddle of a milky substance. The other plate El Tejon that consisted of a cheese sauce contained way more cheese than necessary and completely overpowered the other ingredients. You couldn't taste any of the spices or meat because there was so much cheese poured on top. Normally this is one of our favorite places for Mexican food but on Mother's Day this was a huge disappointment.
Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in Russellville, would definitely be my favorite if they had a liquor licence/margaritas. The torta is definitely the best menu item, it's always loaded down with meat and the carne asada is particularly good with it. Street tacos and pupussas are also pretty good as well as cheap. I come here pretty frequently and I usually have very good/speedy service. If I'm looking for a quick lunch I can usually be in and out in under 20 minutes. Highly recommend.
Awesome food. Their chimichangas, rice, and beans are amazing. My husband also loved their Hawaiiana.
Salsa is the only reason to go every thing else sucked
The best Torta and the Hawaiin Nachos
Don’t recommend…. My partners food (rice was cold) came 15 minutes before mine.. our waiter ( oldish man) was rude when we asked a question. Other waiter was also rude. Although they were rude we stayed polite. First and last time going.
Delicious food and great service!
