Very slow service. Have to order at the counter now. Love this place and it’s cheap but 3rd time here, first two times I left without ordering because there was no one at the counter to take the order.
It was good but i ordered cheese fries though the drive though and the fries came in a mcdonalds fry looking thing and the cheese was in a container…… THE CONTAINER LID WAS NOT ON GOOD and it went everywhere all over the floor and car and onto my best friends hair
We ate here yesterday Monday. The food was good. But.... My grandson needed to use the restroom. There was a sign on one stall saying out of order. The smell was so bad I nearly threwup!
It was so bad. Order salads took 15 minutes was getting ready to leave when they finely brought our food. There was 2 different people from outside drive thru came in and their orders was wrong.I ask for to go plates and our drinks to go and they acted like they didn't know what they were doing.We have been going to Steak and Shake for 12 years that we have lived here. Sorry to say WE Will Not Be Back.
I want to premise that I love steak n shake, and the service is usually good, but the experience I had was horrible. It was like an apocalypse had happened. The one waiter was walking around like a zombie and not interacting with guests. They got my order wrong with giving me the wrong drinks and then forgetting part of my order all together. I had to go up to the front counter and remind my waiter multiple times to get the rest of my order. When I pay extra for something, I expect it to be with my order. The shake was mediocre at best. The other five people there also had similar issues. I will not be dining in again. If you want fast, good food either order drive through or go somewhere else.
So I ordered Single Burger and Shake. Creamy Oreo shake was soooo good.
Walk in and waited 15 mins for our order to be taken, with at least 2 people just standing around. No clean tables at all, all the tables still had food, drinks, trash, etc from the previous people. There were multiple people that could’ve easily gone over and clean them, but didn’t until someone sat down and asked for the table to be wiped down. They got our order and a couple others around us messed up and switched baskets across tables several times. The only good thing about all of it was how the food tasted. There were only about 5 other tables occupied the whole time we were here and all only had 1-2 people at each, so they weren’t even that busy. I’d hate to see how they handle a rush. Much better service years ago, this place has really gone down hill.
Would give no star if I could. We have been here before and it was good but it was pretty bad this time. Young man who was taking orders and the young man serving the dining room never heard the word "hustle.". They moved around so slow, while the place was so busy, you'd have thought they weren't getting paid. I'm sure if you spoke to the manager they would say that's all the "help" they could get. The burgers we got were the single "steak" burgers and the meat was so thin as to be ridiculous. Will not go back.
Not great. They obviously are needing help with positions filled. Quality of food wasn’t great. Fries were a little stale. The limeade tasted like old pink lemonade with a bit of flat sprite. Such a shame. We want the place to succeed but at this rate it prob will be closed soon?
Its 4:and one other car in parking lot, that's bad sign #1.Three employees, register kid needs mgr override to handle cash? Bad sign #2$20 for two burgers combos? There's #3Almost every table is dirty. The burgers shrunk in size. The bathrooms smell.There's no real reason to go past 3 strikes. Will need major change to get us back. And by the looks of how busy they aren't, were not the only one's.
