Had to use a knife and fork to cut my brisket like cutting a well done steak from Cracker Barrel. The fries and baked beans were delightful. avoid the guacamole at all cost.
Food was good but not worth a return in light of quality of service. I called to order ahead for take out and had questions because I had never been before. The woman who took my call/order couldn’t/wouldn’t answer any of my questions about portion sizes so I could determine how much to order. Her response to my question of would a side of sweet potato fries feed 1 or was it large enough to feed 2 with small serving sizes and her response was “I don’t know. I’ve never counted how many fries come in a side order.” I wasn’t looking for an exact number of people it would feed just an idea as to whether the sides were on the smaller side or the larger side so I could order accordingly.When I went to pick up the food the only person who made eye contact was the young man at the hosting station. No one else said anything beyond what was absolutely necessary to find out the name on my order and to take my money. For a “local” establishment that prides itself in mentioning how long they’ve been in NWA, I am very disappointed in the unfriendliness of the staff and will not be returning.
Running errands nearby and stopped in for lunch. Had the Dagwood sandwich ? and sweet potato fries. Both were delicious ?. My husband had the chopped brisket-he loved it.They have a good size bar area with music playing and lots of TVs ? . It looks like they get pretty busy around happy hour
Sliced brisket was well flavored juicy with a decent bite & a great char. The KC & County Style sauces were extraordinary making this a 4 star fs! Baked potato salad was delicious, mac&cheese was creamy delight, whole cob of corn served hot with real butter, slaw was simple & refreshing. Great atmospher
Yummy. The food is so good. So.good. service is great. They are quick to bring drinks, and come by to check on you enough that you're never wondering "where the heck is our server" but also you don't feel stalked. That is a fine line and they walk it well. The food is great and you get lots of it. I always bring home. We'll be back
First time here and it's the bomb. They had gumbo tonight and I was in heaven, it was so good and only a tad bit warm. Just right. Husband got a full rack of ribs, we re taking half with us. They had so much meat. Great place and friendly waitstaff. We ll come back when we load at Tyson againD at
Delicious food with ample portions! Plenty of seating, wonderful staff, and a massive menu. The restrooms did not smell great at all but it didn't detract from my experience. Definitely worth a visit!
Good food, atmosphere and service. Large menu with large variety of entrees so you will be well pleased. we were.
We had company with an Angel @ Smokin’ Joe’s tonight…and I have to tell about it…My Son, his Wife and their 2 kids - my wife and me were eating @ the Rogers store - our Christmas meal.There was a man sitting behind us with a to go order - he left and the waitress told us that he told her to not say anything till he had gone, but he didn’t have a family of his own and he wanted to pay for our meals!! The waitress said that she had never seen him before…but if I had gone out to find him, I bet I’d have heard wings flapping!!A true story - Merry Christmas
Great atmosphere, good service and excellent BBQ and sides. I had the brisket, pork loin and Turkey, all were top notch.
