This place is the WORST. Back story. I used to live in New Orleans, and ate at Popeye's at least three times a week and LOVED IT! But in the past few years, the quality, portion size, and taste of the food has suffered enormously. The biscuits are no longer heaven, but taste just like all the other bad biscuits out there. My past three tries to eat here have gone something like this:Walk in the door and stand there for at least four minutes (sometimes longer) before anyone even ACKNOWLEDGES that I am there! No greeting, not even a glance. This last time I finally just called out, "Excuse me, I'd like a..." and started stating my order. An employee begrudgingly came to the register and took my order.I sit down and wait. (Keep in mind there are only four people in the restaurant, and about 7 employees, and maybe two cars in the drive-thru). THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER... NO FOOD!!! There was a couple who was there before me, who had apparently not received their food either, AND an elderly woman who had been standing at the counter for about 15 minutes before someone even took her order, and was still standing there waiting for HER food. Long story short, I had an appointment I had to get to, and asked for a refund. Please remind me to never go back!
We live rather close to this Popeyes and on the rare occasion we stop here they ALWAYS mess it up. Having us pay for breast and only giving us a box of wings, forgetting entire meals, giving only white meat when we specifically requested & PAID for dark meat. I don’t mind the wait, usually that means good food, we got under cooked chicken, & stale fries. VERY disappointed with this Popeyes, it’s pathetic I have to drive to Springdale to get good Popeyes.
We love Popeyes but the service at this location was terrible. I ordered food at the drive thru- when I got home with the food I was missing a whole meal. I called and told them what happened, they asked what it was and said they would make it right if I came back in. I went back thinking my order would be waiting for me. Instead I had to wait in the order line and then they didn’t have any dark chicken ready. I waited 30 minutes and finally got my 4 piece meal. I didn’t not receive a refund or coupon or anything. Costumer service should be much better!
I’ve never had to leave a review for a fast food joint but honestly it has to be done. This is the only Popeyes in my close vicinity, and don’t get me wrong I love the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich but this rogers establishment specifically… is garbage. I go to Popeyes almost once a week and always order the spicy chicken sandwich. The only issue is that they don’t put any god damn sauce on the sandwich??? It’s a spicy chicken sandwich, without the sauce it’s just a piece of bread and a plain piece of chicken. It’s not even the normal sandwich because that has sauce as well. Stop rationing your sauce it’s annoy. Give me what I order.
Absolutely terrible everytime. I like Popeyes but every time I order here my order is wrong. Every time. I’ve had 3 screw ups from this location. Staff need better training or to just slow down and read the orders right. I’d rather get my food later but correct than fast and wrong.
5/15/22Horrible experience,Too bad I had to waste a star and my time just to post this…After waiting for approximately 15-20min total in thedrive-thru, pulling up to the speaker and theperson taking orders telling you to hold…. “Ok”Several minutes go by so then I said “hello”person answers telling me hold because she was dealing with an order at the window….The vehicle in front of me had already pulled around the building and on to the road…The person comes on the speaker to take the order..I placed my order only to be told that they didn’t have it..The person then begins to give an excuse of why they didn’t have it… something about the freezer, I wasn’t too interested and drove up to the window and saw the person taking orders casually leaning on the counter as well as 2 other workers…The person taking the order comes up to the window, I expressed my dissatisfaction and how bad her customer service was, I then told her that if they didn’t have certain items available to at least post it as a courtesy towards customers…I told her that if they had time to lean and hold up the counter they could at least go place a sign about being out of certain items so other people don’t have waste their time only to be told “we don’t have any”As I was telling her all this she began to close the window on me, I asked her if she was the manager and she replies “yes” her name was Nicky or Bicky… I then told her if that’s how she handles upset customers by giving them a dirty look and closing the window on them…Only thing I could think of is grab my phone and act as if I was recording her to see if her demeanor would change….I hope this is not the training that Popeyes is providing to their employees SPECIFICALLY managers..The way she handled the situation was by turning her back on me closing the window and walking away….All of this interaction was without any foul language but with an upset tone…Very disappointed with Popeyes on Walnut St. In Rogers AR
Food is good every time, but man is the service slow. I always order blackened tenders on the app because I know they take time to make. I expect to pick up my food at the pick up counter, but I have to wait in line every time. And now out of the blue, dining room is closed and I have to wait in the drive thru for an order that I’m supposed to walk in and pick up in about 10 seconds.EDIT: Had to drop a star. I typed up the initial review while waiting in the drive thru. Turns out my order wasn't even ready when I got to the window. I understand finding and keeping fast food employees is extremely difficult right now, but it is ultimately up to the manager or shift leader to motivate the employees to work efficiently, even understaffed. I worked fast food during the pandemic. I hated it, BUT my manager treated us like family and did an excellent job making sure we weren't overwhelmed by the workload. We were able to handle lunch and dinner rushes with ease even when we were understaffed. This Popeyes manager shouldn't be in their position if they can't get the staff motivated to work. It leads to poor service and customers only blaming the faces they see at the counter or window.
It was the worst. The dinning room was closed during lunch time. The drive through was so slow and backed up. We waited over 25 minutes to get our order....BUT.. .the food was hot and fantastic.
This Popeyes has really gone down lately. Slow long lines. Runs out of things. Went through the drive-thru and they took forever to take the order of the car in front of me and then I had to wait a while. I ordered chicken and they were out of mild. How does a chicken place run out of chicken? Then their receipt printer was broken. You think if you can't get what you oder, they would give you a discount or something? But no.
I'm giving this 5 stars, even though my chicken wasn't spicy at all. The flavor was delicious, and food came out very hot and freshly cooked to perfection.
