Highly recommended. I started with the Crab cake which was excellent, one of the best I've had. I had the special which was lobster and crab stuffed salmon. Absolutely amazing. The Keylime pie was excellent, but not scratch made. Clean inviting atmosphere.

First off, the food was fantastic. The selection is decent and the prices are in line for seafood restaurants. Our service was only okay. The front of house crew was very disorganized. Our waiter was distracted and the restaurant had no air conditioning on a hot day. I’m not faulting the AC for the loss of one star, because the food made up for the sweating we did while eating. Overall, this is a solid choice for a good meal.

Fish City is good, but not great. I got the fish and chips. The fish and hush puppies seemed a little overcooked and the fries were okay. I will say that the fried pickles were very good though.

We were seated promptly and our waiter was very nice. I think his name is Max. He checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. We got the fish n chips. Very tasty and piping hot when delivered to our table. My bf said that they're better than many of the places we've gone. Decent amount of food for the money. Not trying to rip off their customers. Hush puppies were good, too. Overall, good place to eat.

I think the first mistake was going here on Good Friday. The current staffing shortage was exacerbated by it being crowded. Although the waiters were trying there very best, they were totally overwhelmed. Drinks and food took a while and several drinks orders went unfulfilled. The food came out it was hot and fairly close together. The Salmon was ok but my dish of Blackened Catfish was not. The fried oysters on it were good but the blackened catfish was two tiny thin slices of overdone cardboard with spice. Should have sent it back but the wait was too long. Should have stuck with fried. Had some of the kids chicken fingers since I was still hungry and they were also dry and over cooked. May try again on a less crowded day but not going to rush back.

We will be back! Crab bisque was amazing, fried calamari was very good, and so was the shrimp and grits! Also got the crawfish boil, but unfortunately this didn’t live up to expectations. No seasoning on the crawfish, and came out cold. We will be back to try again because everything else was so good and the service was great!

Considering they’re in a land locked state, their seafood is definitely good. Was already halfway through the appetizers when I took the pick. Waiter was very kind and helpful, service time was not too long, and the food of course was well done. It was my first time ordering crayfish, and although it was flavorful, i’d probably not order it again because it was too much work for little reward lol. My wife’s stuffed fish is something i’d order next time I go.

We live close by and we’re excited to finally try this place as it always looks busy. We were seated right away even during the 5 o’clock rush. However, while our waitress was very nice we waited a long time in between our drink order and food order. When it was time for a refill we waited a very long time. Twice someone came over with two other tables items.Overall though, minus the long wait time it was a nice place and the food was pretty good. We will likely go back and hopefully have better service.

Fish City Grill is pretty decent seafood restaurant. They offer different Oysters dependent on the season and availability. The food portions are good size, sharable with proper seasoning. The wait staff is friendly, courteous and attending. Kitchen is open so you can watch the food being prepared which is a plus point.

I really wish I took more photos of the meal before having it tossed but I was here last night and ordered the pasta, chicken, and shrimp as it was part of the special on the board. I get my food and it seemed fine at least the top layer. Bottom half was absolutely nothing but pure grease. If you look at the edges of the meal you can notice the puddles of grease. The noodles seemed like they were microwaved as they were rubbery and most were stuck in hard clumps like they were made a few days ago. Nothing really tasted fresh at all on here which is a shame considering its a seafood place. We got seated at the Blue Bar counter near the front by the hostesses who told us it was fine but then had a person on staff at the Blue Bar who yelled at us to move because he had to put food there. The same person also constantly yelled and belittled staff in front of us. It was awful to watch. Our waitress couldn't even check in on us half the time because she was constantly being yelled at anytime she tried to get by to check on us which resulted in me not even wanting to complain on my meal because it was just awful watching the staff get yelled at in front of us and belittled and I didn't want the same to happen to our waitress who was very nice and very sweet. I wish I got her name as she was excellent at doing what she could in these circumstances. We had a couple next to us who had a different server where the same stuff was happening. If the Blue Section is inconvenient and gets in the way then please remove the seats and don't sit people there for food orders and especially dont BELITTLE the staff. Overall it was a godawful experience. My mother ordered the crawfish which we found out aren't even boiled in the seasoning leaving the crawfish overall quite bland. I've been barfing up grease for the last 12 hours and have had the worst diahrea. Busy or not this restaurant needs to learn to handle itself better. This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I don't ever plan on coming back. Especially since my mother and I drove 20-30mins to go here because it was the only place currently with fresh crawfish which unfortunately ended up being very bland.Honestly I wouldn't recommend going after the horror show I witnessed and just overall at how awful the food was. Only good thing I ate was the Keylime Pie which I'm pretty sure isnt made at the restaurant.
