Holy cow - this place is hands down the best food I’ve had at a food truck. This is a stationary truck with seating, umbrellas and a little bar area. We loved the music! We got the carnitas tacos and the birria quesadilla. The quesadilla is a must must must try. The flavor of the meat is unbelievable! Did I mention you need to try this!!?? The customer service was amazing and very helpful. We have told so many people about this place and will be back soon!
I'm from out of town, and I went to several different food trucks in this area while I was here. This place was by far the best. Absolutely delicious hot food, delicious salsas, even delicious guacamole. I had the asada quesadilla, which was cooked perfectly. The meat was charred nicely grilled to order, not very gristly. Tortilla on the quesadilla grilled perfectly still having some chew coming through the crisp edges. A true 10 out of 10 for the $8.50 I paid.So good I'm coming back later today for the torta.
This place is excellent and reliable. Everything a good restaurant and business should be. From a truck.The entire menu is great. The food is hot, fresh, and consistent. You can call in an order. The people are always friendly. The owner is frequently there and always working hard and active. Over time they have added ambiance, convenience, and experience. The prices haven't changed. You get good portions for the price. They don't skimp on extras.Occasionally an order does seem to get stuck in limbo, but they also do a lot of call ins and you can keep a beeper with you in your car for notification.Keep it up, and I'll keep coming back!
My husband and I moved here from SoCal last year. We never thought we would encounter SoCal/ Baja caliber Mexican food again. El Viejon proved us wrong! Thank you for making authentic yummy food! Tortillas are fresh made, by the way. And they were divine!

Gave El Viejón a try today and was delighted. I tried the chicken enchiladas dinner. They were very good and the chicken was very juicy. The rice and beans were amazing as well. Customer service was fantastic, very friendly. One of the best food trucks I have tried in the area. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.

The staff was friendly, the place looks clean and has a nice picnic area with music playing, the food was excellent and fresh! We enjoyed 4 tacos, a big & delicious burrito and one sope. The salsas were tasty too!

The food here is amazing. Tastes authentic. The beef and chicken tacos are my favorites. I also recommend the beef quesadilla. Will definitely go back!
